ROOTER,INC PLUMBING & SEWER

We knew we had a problem outside with our sump pump pipe, but during the recent rains and flooding, we also got some water - for the first time ever - in our basement. We called Rooter,Inc and they came out the next day and explained that our sump pump had issues from the outside AND inside the pit in the basement. Chris was able to show us the problem, and give an estimate to get it fixed quickly before we got even more water. They broke up the concrete in the basement, put in a new pit, new pump, and put in new concrete and also replaced the pipe outside. They did all this without getting our basement carpet wet or dirty, and left the area completely clean. We would use this company again.

The description really is accurate for this company. I called for a sewer problem on a really old house. They arrived exactly on time, thoroughly examined the system and ran a camera on my drains, which seemed to run in a lot of directions instead of toward the street. Chris was very thorough and explained some questionable previous handyman work and some serious problems that should be removed, including an improperly installed toilet and sink in the basement. I got a best case and worst case estimate. They came in the very next morning, right on time and finished the same day. There was an entire crew on the spot and they did a huge amount of work, then put everything back, filled in the hole they dug and called me to explain everything and see if I had any questions. The price came out in the middle despite several problems with the system and having to track down old parts for the ancient sewer. The best part was the continuous update on the work status. I had to work so my wife was there, which worried me, but they always showed her what they were doing and were very professional and clean. They had an inspector there the same day they were working and I was amazed it was all done and put back by the time I got home. My wife said they were so courteous and professional you could tell it was a family business. Chris and his team took real pride in explaining the way they had repaired and improved our house. The drains are working great and I am really impressed. I have remodeled some houses in the past, and Rooter, Inc. is the best I ever worked with. There seems to be a lot of people advertising drain work and plumbing, but these workers will be back if I ever have another problem. Seriously, plumbing is not something you want done poorly or it will be a problem forever. Chris and Rooter have the knowledge and professional ethics and I was glad to find them.

They were fine. I thought their price was rather high. The work was done well. As far as Angie's List is concerned, they had two phone numbers. I got a call; one phone number, the discount was built into the price and on the other one, it was not. We would probably use them again.
