Our school building has undergone an incredible transformation. Elmer and his team were caring, detail-oriented, and easy to work with. They listened closely to our vision, offered creative ideas and brought everything to life beautifully.

Great quality work! Some miscommunication on start date was the only issue, but would definately hire them again.

Golden Oak is a first-rate company. They were flexible in dealing with some last minute scheduling changes and paint changes, and met our schedule for job completion. All painting work was excellent! Cleanup each day was very good, although the sinks could have been left a little cleaner, and some paint marks were left on floors. The painters were extremely friendly and courteous, and their work ethic was outstanding. They took pride in their work, and made sure we were satisfied with everything they did. They always arrived on-time, and had the site cleaned up each night at the time they said they would be completed. The only complaint was with the work to install the closet. While the workmanship was very good, the workers did not clean up at all during the construction phase, and used our home vacuum when they finally did clean up. It clogged the vacuum with drywall dust. Once the construction phase was completed, painting of the closet and surrounding room area was done to superb standards, as they did in the other parts of the house.

Job was very well done - but lasted from April to November 2003. Way too long - also painters left behind paint cans, cloths etc. which I contacted them to remove - finally I took care of it myself last week. (Large area of debris, cans, etc. left on site.) Communication also was poor.

Incredibly nice people to deal with, very accessible and responsive. Job took a little longer than estimated, but the house had alot of prep that needed to be done. The quality of the work was outstanding. The house looks great.

We wish Steve had gotten back to us with an estimate on additional work we needed done.

Steve and Jay and their crew worked to get the job done within our deadline. Everyone was very pleasant to work with and clearly concerned that we be pleased with their work. Prep for the project was clearly more than anticipated, but there was no skimping on that phase, and the finished work clearly benefitted from that attention to detail up front.
