LOWE'S HOME IMPROVEMENT #1821

Where do I find 200 star? Our home warranty company opted to replace rather than repair our LG dishwasher and sent us to Lowes (Carol Stream, IL) with gift card in hand. Divante)sp) and Sam were fabulous in finding a replacement at a great price. The installer went way above and beyond ... it was a really tight fit, but he got it in and up and running. Because of great pricing, we had enough left on the gift card to purchase a grill. It was to be assembled and delivered the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. The delivery window came and went ... no grill. After several phones calls, I spoke with Caitlyn at the store and she spoke with her nanager, Adam. Due to inconvenience caused by the delay (new delivery date 6/9) they upgraded to a grill they had in the stor, assembled and delivered yesterday. They upgrade was significant ($300 more) the original price was honored. In a time when customer service is lacking, Caitlin and Adam did all they could to make it right. I dont usually shop Lowes because it is a bit of a drive. However, this experience has made me a Lowes customer for life!

They are okay. The staff was fine. It is a big box store and their price is okay.  

It was a nightmare!!!  The installer mismeasured the kitchen and the cabinets had to be rebuilt.  The crew did not clean up after themselves and would work other jobs and not show up for days at a time.  It took 9 months to get my kitchen completed.  The installers took all the left over materials and cabinets with them.  I later found out I should have returned them to the store for a refund.  I still don't have the proper electrical outlets near my sink and two of them don't work.

They were on time, they worked efficiently. They cleaned up well. We had a really positive experience with them. They have good people in the store, and their subcontractors are great.

I think that they subcontract out but the people that came out were fantastic. They did an awesome job and I thought the price was reasonable. The foreman told us how many days it would take and they stayed here until 7 PM most nights until they got it done. They cleaned up every night and I was just really pleased. They were here at the time they said they would be here. Only the foreman spoke English but he was here all the time. I can’t say anything negative about them because they were really good. They all knew what they were doing.

Went into Lowe's to see about getting two windows replaced in my investment property condo. They take all my info, and will have a sub-contractor call. This was on a Friday. Got a call from the sub on Sunday, who set up an appointment for Tuesday at 7:00 P.M. By 7:20, I had to call since he wasn't there yet..he's running late. Nice of you to call me. Shows up by 8:00 P.M., gets all the measurements and leaves. Should have an estimate the following day. By Saturday, haven't heard anything, so call the store. They contact the sub...he hasn't turned in the measurements yet. By Monday, I get my estimate. I have to say, the guys at the store, Ricky and Sheldon, stayed on top of it. Windows were ordered, and in before the two weeks promised. Different guy came out to install the windows, and did a great job. It was a rainy day, but he put on his poncho and had the job done in 3 hours, including pulling out the old windows, replacing the rotted sill, installing the new windows, and wrapping them. Rest of the condo residents are very jealous of my new Pellas. Again, other than the guy that initially came out, everything went great. The $700 for the installation seemed steep, but I had nothing to compare it to...still happy with the way it turned out. Also have received numerous calls after the job was finished from the Lowe's store, and some outside company they use to follow up on how satisfied I was.

They had the best price of all the people that we looked at using. They took off ten percent from the total price. They showed up on time to do the work.

The job went well. I would use them again for doors and would recommend them for doors.

We went to the store and picked out a front storm door. There were some complications with the customer service provided at the store, for example the sales associate seemed easily distracted and ultimately misplaced our coupon (though he honored it). We left the door at Lowe s and awaited the installer, who was contracted by Lowe s. The Lowe's installation office was great because they followed up with us twice and then again after the work was done.

I had contact with Steven at the Lowe's store and they were prompt in coming out to measure for everything and he called back stating that everything would be ordered and I would be called as soon as everything came in. It took only about 1 week and everything was ready to install. The installer they hire was excellent. They called and said when the guys would be there and they were there promptly at 8 a.m. the first day they were to show up. The installer said he thought the vinyl flooring would take 2 days but it actually ended up being more like 3 days which was fine with me as I would rather they take their time and do the great job they did. Mike & Brian the vinyl installers were very nice and moved everything without my asking. They cleaned up each day when they were finished and never left a mess. The carpet installers were very nice too and moved the furniture too. They also cleaned up after they were done. They hauled away the old carpet and padding.

Lowes was efficient once we got the order placed. They came in only about $75 under Home Depot in the end, but I would have gone with Home Depot if I had known how hard it was to actually place the order. While they ran a big sale ad on countertops Friday, they had NOBODY in the store Friday night who knew how to sell them! Once we saw someone Saturday they were fine.

Excellent installation. The company Lowe's uses is top-rate. The installer was very friendly.

TOOK THEIR TIME TO CHECK THAT HEATER WAS WORKING PROPERLY AND THAT NO GAS LEAKS WERE FOUND. ALSO INSTRUCTED IN THE MAINTENANCE OF THE HEATER

THE TWO GUYS ON DUTY WERE MORE INTERESTED IN STOCKING ITEMS THAN HELPING. THERE WERE ODDLY DISINTERESTED IN MY PROJECT OR WHAT I NEEDED. WHEN I TOLD THEM WHAT I WAS THINKING OF THEY IMMEDIATELY SAID ''WELL, THAT WILL BE WAY TOO EXPENSIVE''. HOW DISMISSIVE. I HAVEN'T GONE BACK. BOUGHT EVERYTHING ELSE AT A SIMILAR STORE ELSEWHERE.

THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND I WAS ABLE TO PUSH A BUTTON AND GET HELP TO COME TO ME, WHICH WAS NICE. I MADE A SPECIAL ORDER OF A SWITCH PLATE WHICH WAS VERY CONVENIENT AND EASY. THEY SHIPPED IT RIGHT TO MY HOME VERY PROMPTLY.
