I don’t even know who i’m really dealing with if it’s the owner or Sherry Belcher from Williamson management inc impersonating. Yet I think this man owns a company with his wife and daughter. Tony showed up took his ring off to ask me out and give me his number. He was paid by my board member to give her my keys she went and made copies which days later my house was broken into. When he was here he tossed installation all over my bed my cats towers, my soul fall all over my sheets, my clothes, my cats. My two cats are very sick now. After he used the washroom there was spit in my cats water fountain. I didn’t hear him use the toilet but urine all over my wall. I have the welts to prove it my cats also. Things are missing my cats medical Prescriptions and And cat filters for cat fountain. And very important things like a passport. If I was you, I wouldn’t even trust this company. My unit would heat to well 75 my house was Smoldering now it has to be over 80 and you don’t understand I’m in a very high high unit and peoples heat rises so I don’t really have to use much so I don’t know what this man did but my coils are like smashed in. Even had to have him come back because he didn’t even seal and holes. It was so cold. The cold air was coming in. I’m afraid when summer comes in the guarantee there would be no leaks yeah right look at all the stuff this man did. You can’t trust this management yet this company if they’ll do this for a price.

My experience was about average. They are very much on time. The schedule service is very easy. The owner is very friendly. When they installed it they did not insulated it correctly. When I asked them about it, they said they would fix it but then they charged me for it. I thought it was their responsibility to fix it. I feel that they shouldn't be charging me for something that they should have done in the first place.

"Thank you for your positive comments about our company, but I would like to set the record straight about your service call. When you called on 05/24/13, you called to schedule a clean & safety check on 2 of your units, and your Master Bedroom unit was getting too cold or hot before unit turns on, and shutting off on when it should. I quoted you $155 for the cleanings, and a discounted rate of $79 for the Diagnostic of your master Bedroom unit. The Master Bedroom unit is the unit that we installed on 10/07/09, 3 years 7 months from the time of requested service. As stated in our proposals, we have a one year full parts and labor warranty. You called us for the first time 3 years 7 months from the date of installation. Your review, in my opinion, is misleading. It makes it look like we just recently installed the unit we insulated, and that we charged $200 for insulation, which is far from the truth. Your charges were: $155 for the 2 cleanings $50 for a deep cleaning of your Dining Room unit, and $20 to add insulation to the bottom of the Master Bedroom Please note that we didn't charge the $79 Diagnostic Fee quoted, due to it only needing insulation. If you had called us within the first year of installation, we would've added the insulation at no charge. But after 3 years 7 months, we can not warranty something like that because we don't know if someone else removed the insulation because it must have been working properly for before you called us. Since you told me that Angie's List called you unexpectedly, and you gave them information over the phone, I'm hoping you'll reconsider the grades that were given."

AllStar called as requested 15 minutes before arriving, The technician was prompt, courteous, and kind. These guys really bend over backwards to make sure that your electric bill is minimized through having efficient HVAC units, as well as keeping an eye out for your overall finances and safety. Sure, this is how they make their money, but it seems like the kind of situation where they are making money doing something they care about, and that's wonderful to see, and to experience. They aren't going to tell you to replace an old HVAC if it is perfectly fine, but they will tell you when you need to start planning for the replacement once the thing is in really bad shape. We are regular customers of AllStar, and we wouldn't want to switch. It's not the most glamorous service, but they do it really well, and they are people you don't mind having in your home. Oh, also, the technician wore shoe coverings to make sure he didn't leave any tracks anywhere. Really good. Certainly recommend.

In early January, 2009, I discovered that the "Change Water Panel" light on the control panel of my less than 3 month old AprilAire humidifier was illuminated. I checked the manual, which instructed me to call my dealer if this light went off. I was pretty sure the panel didn't need changing because the unit was so new. I talked to Brian at AllStar (who holds a managerial role), and told him what had happened. We also discussed that there had been a power outage recently at my home. He explained that the controls might just need to be reset, but declined to tell me how to do that over the phone, explaining that one of his technicians should take a look to make sure nothing else was wrong (mentioning that there might be an installation problem or that the power outage might have shorted something). When the technician arrived, he simply reset the control (which required two twists of a knob -- something I could have done myself very easily had someone told me how), which solved the problem. He then presented me with a $99.00 bill. I objected to this bill, and got on the phone with Brian to discuss it. I reminded Brian that he had declined to explain to me how to reset the controls over the phone, to which he replied, "We don't work for free, ma'am." I explained that the installer in October hadn't explained the reset process, and that Brian should have talked me through reset possibility. Brian said that he had provided me with a manual, and I told him the manual said to call him. Brian remained insistent that it was proper to bill me under these circumstances, even after I told him that he was taking a very short term perspective with a long term customer. When I explained that I would not be inclined to hire his company again, he responded by saying, "That would be fine with me, ma'am." We ended our phone call, and I gave his technician my credit card. When the technician called Brian back to get credit card approval, apparently Brian instructed him that there would be no charge. However, Brian never apologized to me. I found his lack of concern for customer satisfaction and loyalty to be astounding, especially in this weak economy. I'm glad that Brian finally did the right thing by not charging me, but why make me angry and treat me badly first?

"I have been in the heating and air conditioning business for over 25 years and have always prided myself on being fair and honest with our customers. It is unfortunate that this happened with our Service Manager, Brian. This type of behavior from Brian was finally brought to my attention and Brian was terminated from the company. Unfortunately, the member's were not the only folks that had problems with Brian. I agree that this was something that could have been done over the phone. I help many customers over the phone. If that didn't work, then we could have come out. I want to thank Angie's List for the chance to respond, as the BBB does not. I just wish I would have checked this sooner. Also, a note to any consumer, if you ever have problems with a service person, or even a manager, demand that you talk with an owner. The only way that an owner can correct any wrong doing is by hearing from you. Thank you, Virginia Ristau"
