It went well. We were going to install a second ceiling fan in our son's bedroom, but decided to wait. The job was done on time and for the price that was quoted.

He was a little cranky, but he did good work. I called him up before I bought the deal and I said can you get me in soon, because we need something done and he said sure. Then I bought the deal and then he said he just got overwhelmed, but then he did end up coming and he did a good job. The price was good. I had the deal and then it wasn't too much more than what I had already paid.

Perfectly.  My handyman had problems getting the new light to work and thought there might have been a voltage problem.  However, when I hired a professional electrician from Angie's List I knew I would get results.  Mark Lewis did not disappoint.  He is a PRO from the word, "go." Since the house was built in the late 70's, the electric has always been questionable, so he followed the wiring and checked to see if it was in conduit or just free floating in the wall. I also had foam insulation blown into the walls which he had to address while installing the new light.  Long story short, I have a beautifully working light that I know won't burn my house down!  He's now going to install the same light at my sister's house.

After their assessment of what needed to be done to mount a new fixture box in our porch ceiling, they proceeded to do so.
The work was completed in a timely manner and we were left with what we needed - a box to mount a new light fixture.
Apparently, one of the previous owners of our house decided to mount an overhead light on the porch ceiling without the proper electrical hardware to complete the job.  No fixture box - just an armored cable with the wires connected directly to the light.

We found that installing the power point could be done more easily at at less expense than originally thought, and the price was adjusted accordingly.  He was very cordial, very helpful, prompt and the work has lasted.  It was a perfect experience.

We’ve been very happy with both price and performance. They were responsive without being pushy on the estimate. They were about 20% less than the nearest competitor.

The job went wonderful. I would recommend them for basic electric but I wouldn't recommend them for anything else in an old house because he kept commenting about the house being old and the electrical issues with an old house. I would not have them back because the house is 65 years old.

I called Advantage - they were out that afternoon and did some analysis. Somewhere on that cricuit something was happening to create a short circuit,)  NExt day they were back and spent most of the day (I told them to stop for at least a 20 minute lunch break) taking apart each switch, light, and receptacle to test to determine where the problem was occurring. Finally found it as some old wiring in the dining room wall had worn -- they showed me the bad wiring and the meltied burned wire. The problem was then - "can we somehow fish new wire through the existing conduit or would new conduit need to be installed (the latter a costly and messy project.) So they worked at fishing new wire and with extreme difficulty managed to use the existing conduit.  Thanks guys for that because I really didn't want to tear up the wall and floor to replace the conduit. All in all, for an emergency call and then a full day of work - total 10 hours - a $650.00 charge to me was very very reasonable,
I would use this firm again and again and again.  They were great. Took the time time explain the problems and gave make some estimates and options on what to do about them.

They were good. They were available to come the day after I called them.
Employee was pleasant, clean, and did things well. He hesitated to do something that would be against code but found part that made it legal, and he was able to do it.
He was going to walk away if it wasn't able to be properly done and I appreciate that.

I gave Mark at Advantage Electric an opportunity to estimate the above mentioned work based on reports from other members.  He came out for the estimate appointment and patiently listened to what I wanted and answered my questions.  Mark is pleasant and a down-to earth guy.  His estimate was reasonable to me and I hired him to do the job.  He was a bit busy with other work, so it took a couple weeks for him to get to me, but I wasn't in a big hurry.  He installed the new panel on one day and did the re-wiring the following week.  He arrived promptly both times.  Being an engineer, I can be picky when it comes to quality, but the work was done well and he cleaned up after himself.  Both days he was in our house unattended since both myself and my wife had to go to work.  He proved to be trustworthy and even didn't mind our beagle having run of the place while he was working.  Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely hire him again.

It went well.  Mark was prompt, professional and honest. He actually indicated that some work DID NOT need to be done. He could have easily just charged me work that was not necessary, but he did not. I will use Advantage Electric again and recommend them as well.

Mark was very prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable.  He replaced switches in two different areas and replaced an outdoor intercom speaker.  He clearly new what he was doing, was very professional, and was a pleasure to deal with.

The job went extremely well. He was prompt getting to our job in spite of a full schedule. He was professional and incredibly detail oriented. We had him install a new outlet in our family room which involved going through dry wall in our garage. Not only was the outlet placed in the exact spot we wanted, but he even repaired the dry wall in our garage! My wife was home during the work and I was stunned to see the dry wall repaired when I came home. While not perfect ( I had to add a coat of compound no big deal)  I fully expected to have to fix the dry wall my self. I cannot say enough good things. He was neat quiet and highly professional. Needless to say, he will be getting all our future work. The best thing is, the person you speak to on the phone is the person who will do doing your work. I love dealing with small companies.
