2nd City Restoration

Representative was totally non-responsive. We had to hound them for weeks to take next steps. When they sent us the demo invoice it included visits to â monitor the drying equipmentâ that never happened. When we tried to move things forward with the company, the representative blatantly lied about previous conversations and requested next steps. We are now shifting to have other companies bid on this project, meanwhile our roof is leaking and we have no drywall and insulation in our living room.

they were hire to remove all furniture and appliances after there was afire on second floor in my house. they barely wrapped or boxed anything . they took my 4 moths old refrigerator and damaged it and didn't say anything until they brought back all my personal property and 80 percent it was dusty ,moldy or broken it looks like it was stored outside and they were expecting me to accept it . they were supposed to inspected, clean it and gave an inventory of all the salvable items they never did. also when i told them about the damaged refrigerator at first they tried to tell me that's the way it was . but later they found their crew dropped it when they were moving it out and never said anything. i paid 4000 dollars for that refrigerator and they only gave me 2000. the rest of my property they took it back saying they were gonna go thru and let me know they were coming back i still waiting for them to call me or send an email its been a year already . its time to call a lawyer.

I heard about these guys through a friend at work and hired them when I needed my living room and kitchen remodeled. It was a lot of work but they finished it all two weeks before the deadline. Always communicated with me and kept me in the loop of things. Great work!

We used 2nd City back in February as our home was damaged from ice damming. Keith was very helpful throughout the whole process and they worked with our insurance and got everything back to normal very quickly. Contrary to what the previous review stated, they were very careful with all of our belongings while working inside our home. Definitely would recommend!

They were very professional and kept in constant communication with me. This was my first time dealing with my basement flooding and they helped me out so fast after other companies put me on hold. I highly recommend.

Good service

Awful experience. They came to Houston after the freeze to do water mitigation. They did not wrap or cover anything. Broke valuable items including floor tile and a piece of artwork. You would be better served by hiring migrants off the street corner. I do not recommend.
