Working with Sound Decisions was great. Pricing was also excellent. The advice that Jeff gave me was very personalized, and I could tell he knew a lot about vehicle installations based on the questions he was asking. He was able to determine my technical skill and give me precise detail on what to do.
The wire harness for my GM vehicle is normally quite expensive. Jeff was able to get the harness and door chime for about 80% less than most other shops and on-line retailers. When I explained that I was not interested in any navigation or video capability, Jeff didn't try to up-sell me on something I didn't need. He gave me straight up advice and recommendations.
I also explained that I had some after market speakers, but the quality was not outstanding but better than the standard GM equipment. Instead of trying to sell me a new set of speakers, he actually recommended that I hold off and see how the new deck sounds first.
The deck install went off without a hitch, maybe 20 minutes since all of the wiring was all set to go. The mounting kit was an exact fit, no guess work involved.
Finally, a car audio shop that just 'gets it.' No unnecessary up-selling, no baloney, great technical advice and honesty. Businesses in the Northern part of the state can definitely learn from the way Sound Decisions conducts their transactions.
