My electrical breaker had been tripping for the past nine months.  I had multiple different companies come out to try and fix the issue, none of them found a solution.  I then called B W Electric and they were able to fix the issue after doing extensive rewiring.  My home was built in the 1960's and it turned out much of the wiring in my home was not up to code.  The B W technicians were professional, did a great job and had reasonable pricing.  I plan to use them again in the future.

My wife and awoke to some flickering lights late on a Saturday. After trying to shut down different circuit breakers within the house, and powering them back on, we could not easily identify if this was a single troubled circuit issue. After attempting to power a light back on with all the circuits closed, all of the lights and appliances went completely dark. We decided this was more of a major issue, and decided to deal with it the next morning.
A fantastic linesman from Egyptian Electric Coop came out after I called the power company. He was a very nice gentleman and extremely helpful, explaining where their service begins and where we as homeowners take over responsibility. After checking out all of the outdoor connections up to the meter, we determined the problem was past the meter. He explained that he couldn't do anything more, as this is where their responsibility ends. This is completely understandable.
I gave Billy Woosley electrical a call on a Saturday. He said he could be at my house in 30 minutes to check it out, after I explained the situation. He said (based on my description) that this isn't a situation to leave alone, and he wanted to check it out right away. Less than 30 minutes, he was here to inspect. As it turns out, the outdoor disconnect point had begun to break down after 30+ years of outdoor exposure.
Billy tightened some connections, and explained what he believed needed to be done. The flickering stopped, but he explained this is not a permanent fix. This included a replacement of the outdoor disconnect lugs, box, and switch. In addition, while he had the equipment, he would also locate the power line feeding into our house, which I thought was a good idea. He estimated the project between a certain range, and it fell right in this range. Billy was also flexible with the timing of the repair, since we couldn't be at the home on the day he wanted to fix it.
He called on a Thursday morning to let me know he was starting the work, which is exactly when we agreed on having the work done. I was really surprised that he actually asked permission to drive his truck across our yard to the power connect, as I believe this was very courteous. A lot of contractors I have worked with in the past don't even ask, they just do what is convenient for them, even if it puts ruts in your lawn.
Billy did all the repairs in the time frame we agreed upon. I was able to check out the work on the weekend, and it is fantastic. As a technician who does low-voltage work sometimes (telecom, co-axial, and Ethernet), you can almost always tell a good job was done, just by looking at it. The routing of the wires was perfect, everything was replaced (as we agreed upon), dielectric grease was used on all the connections, and the job visually looks very well done.
Our power is now a nice smooth delivery, constant 60Hz cycle, and no flickering (thank goodness!). Billy is an extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgeable individual. I am planning on having him back to do some expansion projects in the future, and it will be a pleasure to do business with him again.
