He was good about calling me back and he scheduled the work at our convenience.

I called Dave Gardner to do some work for me, he told me his son Joe did the work in my area and he would have him come to my house. While he was there I had him give me an estimate on installing tile. He gave me a price on the spot. He got the money to do the work and never showed up. When I called him he said he forgot and would come in a couple days. Again, he never showed up. I called and said I wanted my money back. He said all he would do is mail a check back to me. I never got a check and called Dave Gardner to get my money. Dave Gardner said he was retired and the problem was between me and his son. I told him I called him not his son to do the work and he said he would find out what happened and get back to me. I never heard back from him either. I have contacted the better business bureau. they didn't get a response. Then I contacted the attorney general. they said they were unable to locate the company. I called Servicemagic, to get bids on a job and got a voicemail from Dave Gardner saying he wanted to set up a time to come give me an estimate, even though he told me he was retired.
