"I really enjoyed working for this family. As with many repairs I do, the area to be repaired is what I focus on. It would be nice if the repaired area blended in with the ceiling or wall areas without painting, but that is just not possible. I tell all my clients they will usually have to prime and paint the entire ceiling or wall after a repair is done. My specialty is repairing it so that after it is primed and painted, it blends in and does not show."
"I understand this customers frustration. My e-mail account was hacked in to. Fake and goofy e-mails were sent out to this customer and it really has been a stressful experience. I am trying to do all I can to resolve this issue. I contacted this customer to let them know I was very sorry for this situation. I will continue to do all I can to make my customers happy. I try my hardest to keep good communication between me and my customers. I value everyone who contacts me to work in their homes doing plaster repairs. Sincerely, Robin Raymer Plaster Man"
"It was really nice working for the member. Once again I had a customer who really was appreciative of the work I did. I have had literally hundreds of customers who needed plaster repair in their homes in the Peoria and East Peoria/Morton areas. I also have done a lot of work in the Germantown hills area. I can say very honestly that I really have had fantastic customers here in the Peoria area. My customers are people I do business with, but they are more than that. They really become friends of mine and I have many I still stay in touch with to this day. I recently was able to go on WGN radio in Chicago. I offer training to people who want to learn plaster repair as a business opportunity. The interview can be found on their website. You put Bill Moller in the search window and then go to the 1/21/2012 interview with Plaster Man. It was a great show to be on, and I am very appreciative for being able to help people learn about this great trade. People are coming in from around the world to the Peoria area to learn how to do plaster repair for a living. 2012 marks 30 years I've been doing this trade, and I wish success to all of my customers this year and beyond! Plaster On!"
"I appreciated the member's business. He is a very kind individual, as are most of my customers. The people of Morton and Peoria are top notch and wonderful to work for! I tell most people that I am not the 'cheapest' bid. Most of the time I am the highest estimate that they will get. However, they will not regret the work I do or having me visit their home to do the repair work that is needed. Many times today companies have one person come in and 'bid' the work and then the homeowner gets a big surprise when they see that someone else shows up to do the work. Often they do not cover or protect the areas where the work is being done. And many times the work is not done well. My business is not to criticize others work. My job is to do the best work possible. Plaster repair is an 'art'. It takes great skill in knowing what materials to use and how to apply them to make things look 'right'. That's what I take pride in doing. I do all the work myself and it's great to have hundreds of happy customers in the Peoria area! I look forward to hearing from anyone who needs repair work done. I use genuine plaster and can do repairs to both newer and older/historic homes. I do repairs to smooth walls and ceilings as well as a large variety of textured surfaces. Plaster can also be used to make smooth walls textured, or a textured surface smooth. You can visit my website, or call me at 309-647-2287. I look forward to hearing from you!"
