The Davey Tree Expert Company

A storm knocked a large 35-year old tree in my yard and it was leaning on telephone/internet lines and the power Line. I called ComEd and they said since you still have power, we’ll get to when we get to it, but it was only a matter of time before the tree move more and took out the lines. I called Davey based on a friend's recommendation and a certified arborist was there within 45 minutes, gave me a quote to remove the tree within 15 minutes, had a crew out on the property 3 hours later, and finished the 6-hour job that day. I can’t say how cost competitive they were, but their responsiveness and speed to get the work done to avoid an outage were worth every penny. I would definitely use them again.

It was a very good service. They come out and check the trees out. WE are very happy with them.

The response to my call was very quick and an appointment to assess the scope of the job was scheduled. Matt came out and described what they would do and gave us the proposal immediately. Within a week they came and did the trimming as agreed upon.

We were very pleased throughout the process. Ryan Carter was our primary contact and he helped us to assess what needed to be done. Felt like he always had our best interest in mind. The work crew was professional, thorough and neat. They cleaned up nicely, which is important to me. This is the second time we have worked with Davey. Previously, had two large trees removed. A pleasure both times and we would engage them again and have recommended them to others. Their pricing is very competitive and we did not sacrifice quality. A very positive experience.

They removed some trees. I thought both companies prices were good, but Davey's was lower. So that's why I went with that company. 

They did good work. They seemed to be on it,and work independently. They followed the instructions I gave them, and it worked out well. They showed up at 8am in the morning and were gone by the time I got home from work. The representative that I spoke with was very professional.

They are a little more expensive, but worth it. They are great. They have great customer service, knowledge and cleanliness.

They were nice and courteous as much as I interacted with them. They just did what they were supposed to do. I would recommend them to a friend.

We were real happy with them. I was very pleased with them, there were no complaints at all. I guess we probably got two or three estimates and we went with this first one from them. They were certified to work near power lines. They came out and they had the right stuff. We have a very strict village ordinances here, so whatever they do has to be approved by the village.
