Stockbridge Architects PC

He was one of 3 architects we interviewed about an addition for our home.  Of the three we interviewed, he had the most ideas and was the most reasonable.  Jay met with us several times to complete our project.  He was really helpful in walking us through the process and picked up on our preferences quickly.  Jay also worked really well with our general contractor whom he hadn't met previous to this job.  He is down-to-earth and very professional.  Overall, we couldn't have been happier!

Jay Stockbridge arrived on time and was very professional.  

Example:

I wanted to enclose our front porch with a storm door.  Jay came up with a quick design that solved the obvious problems I could see, and problems I didn't even think of.  I saw a simple $1,000.00 project.  Jay showed me why it would cost much more to do it correctly.  For starters, the door would need to open outwards, and there was not enough space to open the door without expanding the concrete step in front of the door.  With my plan, you'd have to be a ballerina to open the door.  

For a variety of reasons, we've decided to hold off on these project until spring.

They did a good job. He had a great personality and a lot of great design ideas. The price of the design was very fair and he was able to get a design together for us on time for what he told us he was going to do. He had great follow up everytime I contacted him.
