Having removed the cistern cover of the powder room toilet to disentangle the flush chain, I discovered that a gasket at the top of the ballcock mechanism was leaking and squirting water all over the place. I quickly closed the wall shut-off valve, which promptly began to leak water on to the floor. These components are 30 years old. I found SAV Plumbing on Angies List and put in a computer request for a quote. Mr. Sumilovas called me a few minutes later and I explained the problem. He came to the house in about 30-40 minutes. I showed him the parts that were leaking. He replaced the entire ballcock assembly with a new, modern type and also the wall shut off valve with a new stainless steel type of valve and braided connection pipe. The new ballcock assembly fills the tank very rapidly and is much, much quieter than the old one, so I was very pleased with it. He completed the work in less than an hour and there have been no leaks. I am very satisfied with the work, especially the fact that the replacement parts are of high quality. I have been looking for a good plumber for some considerable time and I am very happy to have found one. I will definitely call Mr. Sumilovas again if I have any further plumbing needs.

I was very satisfied with Andrey’s work. The same day that I called him he came by to give me a quote. And he did the repairs the day after I called for an appointment. He wore a mask and shoe protectors. He was efficient and knew what he was doing. 4 value-added qualities: (1) he is a very friendly person, (2) he noticed an additional leak when under one sink and checked if a cartridge problem in the other sink, (3) he waited to make made sure that the repairs fixed the problems, and (4) he cleaned up the areas when finished.

Came On time and kept workspace clean.

Originally retained to replace cartridges on my old Hansgrohe faucet, one was frozen and could not be removed. I ordered a new faucet set and Andrey from SAV Plumbing returned and did the removal and install. He was on time, neat, careful and did a great job. I highly recommend him and will use him again, when I recognize a project is beyond my scope.

Andrey was very helpful in performing a series of repairs at my house. He explained what he needed to do very clearly and I felt that the prices and scope of work were reasonable. Most importantly, he gave me his perspective on other plumbing around my house. He treated my home as if it were his home and, for that reason, I would hire him again.

Andre did an amazing job! He removed the existing toilet and installed the new toilet. He was extremely patient given the toilet we bought from Home Depot was broken and we needed to go and exchange it. Excellent attention to detail and left the bathroom in pristine condition. Excellent service. Andrey was prompt and very professional. He explained the entire process and why the fitting had gone bad after only being installed for two years.

There were some challenges with the old original pipes, corrosion, and cartridges but Andrey managed to take the time to remove them properly and replace/repair professionally. He was also patient in explaining what he needed to do and what parts i needed to buy in advance. While repair cost wasn’t exactly cheap for the labor (since I provided most of the parts), it was fair for his level of service, I thought. Thanks, Andrey! Would hire him again for other future plumbing work!
