"We never received a call from this member. We work really hard to answer all calls but we have no record of a call from this member."
"Thank you for reaching out and I'm sorry no one answered your call. It is definitely important for us to make sure we answer all calls, which we normally do, so I am sorry we missed you. We also do not service the Aurora area, so I am glad you found someone that could help you. Thank you. Brent Metz"
"I take these reviews very seriously, and this review is so far off that it frustrates me tremendously. It is completely false. This customer was referred to me by a builder who we have done a lot of work for, and we came in to just hook up existing equipment that he moved from Texas, which we normally wouldn't do but I respect the builder's referral. It was all his existing equipment that he wanted installed and most of the equipment was still in moving boxes throughout the house when I did my consultation. So when we came out to do our installation, the TV he wanted to install in the master bedroom was a 10 year old Panasonic with a SONOS music system that he currently owned. We installed the equipment exactly how desired to find out the TV didn't have the correct output on it to hook up to the SONOS. I have only seen one other TV that didn't have an optical output in my career, so I instructed my guys to get all the wiring ready and we would have to find a converter. I called 6 suppliers and none of them carried this type of product. So I went online, and I found the part that was needed and sent the member a link to exact what he needed to order. I did everything I could to resolve this issue for a client in the most efficient way possible. The problem was his old equipment, and his review is completely false. I honestly have no idea why he would leave this review, and I am sorry that this one little piece left a sour taste in his mouth, but it was not neglected or not "cared" about as he states. Everything with the installation looked awesome, and it turned out great. We wanted to leave it as easy as possible for the client, so all that was required was plugging in two cables, at which, I told the member if he wasn't able to figure it out I would be more than happy to come by and hook it up for him. I don't understand how he could say that I didn't show interest or try helping him to find a solution. In addition, we added power behind the TV in the master bedroom, and the homeowner emailed me the evening after the installation and said the breaker kept tripping in the master bedroom, and that we needed to come out immediately to fix the issue we caused. I rearranged our schedule, and I got my guys there the next day to look at the issue. Everything we did was correct and working perfectly, but it was a faulty breaker that needed to be replaced, which an electrician discovered a few days later. I went above and beyond to get back to this clients house the next day on an issue that had nothing to do with our work. Funny thing is after the completion of the installation, I also reach out to all clients to make sure they are happy, and here is a portion of the email I received from the client day of install, and I quote: "You provide top quality workmanship and you stand behind your work. I told Jim and Derrick I rate their work 11 out of 10 stars." After the completion of the installation, I spoke with the builder who referred us, and he stated that he referred three different trades to the member, and he had a problem with all of them. These other trades I can personally vouch for as they have done work on my personal home. We delivered the service that we always do that have resulted in the over 100 A reviews, so maybe there should be an Angie's List for contractors to rate clients. Some people will never be happy. We take a lot of pride in our work, and we give our clients the utmost respect even if it is not reciprocated, and we always strive to be the best contractor out there. We will continue doing the best job possible, and thank you for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, Brent Metz Hooked Up Installs, Inc."
