Matt is an excellent electrician. Matt strives to find a cost-effective solution to electrical problems. I am very happy with the quality of Matt’s work and his attention to detail.

Matt was outstanding. At the time I invited him to provided a quote, I was under the impression that I would need to upgrade my service to support the additional 240V NEMA outlet for EV charging. However, Matt pointed out that my panel had plenty of capacity and an upgrade was not necessary, thereby, saving thousands of dollars. Matt was also meticulous with wearing a mask and booties when inside the house which was greatly appreciated. He was also responsive to my numerous emailed questions. All of this on top of a job well done. Thanks Matt.

This was our first time using Goldstream Electrical Services, Inc. and we were highly impressed with the service and expertise. Matt Goldowski was very informative and efficient in the services provided. He installed a ceiling fan, inspected/replaced a light switch, installed a dimmer switch and replaced outdoor motion light. From our initial contact with Matt, he was very informative inquiring on the items we liked to install and offered recommendations for future reference. I had four electricians provide estimates for this job and make suggestions. Matt, the owner of Goldstream, came in with the lowest estimated cost and and made several very useful suggestions. (He even suggested I look into one possibility that he doesn't handle.) He got back to me quickly on all questions, and followed through exactly as promised on all aspects of the job including the cost. Everything went very smoothly and my husband and I are totally satisfied. We read his very positive reviews before hiring him and I am happy to add my own. We'd hire him again in a minute.

Back in June I had Goldstream Electrical Services perform a 200A service upgrade. As a result of that fine work, I enlisted Matt's services again to add recessed lighting to my basement as well as run electricity to a new wall. Again, fantastic service and workmanship. Matt is great to work with and comes up with great ideas in terms of project direction based on his experience. I would highly recommend Goldstream Electrical Services!

Matt and Goldstream are everything that you could want in a contractor. From the first interaction, Matt made the whole experience easy. He scheduled a quote over text message, showed up on time, and offered a fair price. When he came to do the actual work (installation of recessed lights), he was meticulous and clean. He also made several excellent recommendations on how we could utilize wireless technology to avoid the need for opening up drywall (saving us money that we would have needed to otherwise spend on drywall repairs). We'll definitely be using Matt for any electrical needs in the future.

Matt installed LED tape lights under all my kitchen cabinets, and recessed lights in ceiling. Looks lovely and bright. Also replaced kitchen light fixture over dinette, and chandelier in our very high dining room ceiling. He put our microwave/conduction oven on a direct line. Also put new ceiling fixture in our master closet. Very much on schedule and very careful with his equipment and clean-up. He made several suggestions to improve our lighting which we were happy with. High recommendation from us.

I recently had a 200A service upgrade. I can not speak highly enough of Matt. He took a genuine interest in not just another job, but in where I wanted to go with my project. Matt did a great job. Was very punctual and price was fair. He made sure to limit the amount of drywall that needed to be patched when running the conduit back to my electrical panel which I really appreciated. I would definitely use Matt again.

Super good job. Discussed where to put it and how best to connect. The run from the breaker box to where I wanted it installed was further than I originally estimated. Included the extra wire and conduit in original for the original quote. Did a great job and cleaned up everything.

The work was originally scheduled for a single day, but after pulling the outdoor Ethernet the electricians decided around 2:30pm to reschedule the speaker installation because they were tired (it was a unusually hot day), so we arranged a day the following week. They arrived on time and installed the speakers. Overall, the requested work was performed. That said, I am not happy with the quality of the speaker installation. The circles made for the speakers were made quite roughly (appears as if they were cut by hand instead of using a hole saw), with obvious gaps around the speakers visible to anyone who cares to look up. I expected to have to fix the wall/ceiling where holes were made to route the wires, I did not expect to have to also patch the holes where the speakers are installed. As can be seen in the photos, one of the holes is particularly problematic, and will require significant triage. The other three can probably be patched/painted in place if they can be partially extracted and masked without damaging the drywall further.

Everything went very well - we will be using Matt for our future electrician needs.

They responded quickly to our request for service. They came within the time that he said that he would be here. We knew the minimum charge before he came. He was very personable. To show what I mean, so we've been in this house for about a year and were finding great interesting things that the previous owner had done and I was making a joke about that and he said "yeah, that's not the first that happened." My husband had dropped a screw when he was trying to fix the ceiling fan initially and I went in to say " Oh, my husband dropped the screw and can't find it. Here we got some more" and he says "Oh, I found it. he dropped it inside the fan." Oh, Okay. He was funny. He was very nice.
