Description of Work: Called for garage door repair, but the technician just lubricated it and charged for that. He was prompt, professional, and fair.

Description of Work: I last used Express Overhead Door about 6 months ago.

Description of Work: After trying to program the garage door openers in our cars ourselves, all of our remotes, keypads and car openers stopped working for our garage. After receiving such great service from Walter the last time around 2 years ago, we decided to call him again without hesitation. We called last night and he was here by lunch time today. Within 30 minutes he had fixed the keypad, remote, and both cars and explained everything he did so we could fix it ourselves next time. He only charged a portion of his standard fee since it was only a 30 minute job, which most companies would not do.

Description of Work: On the evening of June 15th, a spring on our garage door snapped and the garage was stuck in a closed position. We saw this company's sticker on the wall and gave them a call, the previous owners had used them before to have work done. Walter owns the company and answered right away. Instead of providing emergency service that night and charging us an extra fee, he walked my husband through the process of opening the door manually over the phone, making certain he was extra careful in his instructions since a garage door without the proper springs and balance can slam down and be extremely dangerous. We needed the car in the garage to get to work the next morning so we were extremely grateful. He was able to come out to service the door two days later. I was home with my 3 month old son and he was very professional and courteous and walked me through the issues, explaining everything I possibly needed to know about our garage door and the repairs that were needed. He advised us to replace both springs at once in order to save on labor since they were old and would most likely go out within a year anyway. He also upgraded us to higher quality springs for free because he didn't have the basic version stocked in his truck and wanted to get the job done quickly.
