A couple of months ago, my four-year-old Samsung LCD TV started to make several clicking sounds on power up. The TV also took anywhere from 1 to 5 minutes to power up. The problem was progressivly getting worse. After researching the problem online, I found out that many Samsung LCD TVs have an issue with bad capacitors on the power supply. Samsung would do nothing for me except refer me to a technician. After playing phone tag with a technician who wasn't helpful, I decided to find my own technician. Roman is the only one who responded in less than 24 hours. After a couple of email exchanges, he came to our house and fixed the issue. The cost of parts and labor were $240 (which is reasonable based on my research). Since I had him do it at our house, there was an additional $80 on-site fee (also reasonable based on my research). Roman answered all my questions and was very professional. He arrived early and did the job in about 45 minutes. I would definately hire him again and would recommend him to others who need a TV fixed. Roman has been in the business for over 30 years and specializes in Projection TVs, Plasmas, LCDs, and DLPs.
