Westside Rub-R-Wall

This contractor was a sub for The Upkeepers. Contractor missed our initial appointment and didn't return calls. Eventually came out after general assured me that they were the "best in the business." We got the estimate and signed a contract, then scheduled the work. They were going to be jackhammering in the basement, so I planned to take my kids out of the house for the two days the work would be going on. The work was scheduled for Thursday/Friday. I left with the kids, then Jack called to say that they couldn't get the equipment from the rental place and they'd be coming on Monday/Tuesday instead. Monday came and I again left with the kids, then got a phone call from the general contractor that Jack had the flu. Work was rescheduled for the next Monday/Tuesday. Again, we left the house. I talked with Jack and he planned to be there, and said he'd call me at the end of the day to tell me how things went. I called him at the end of the day and left a message to see how things went, and he sent me a text message to tell me that they'd actually be doing the work on Wednesday/Thursday. After some angry conversations with the general contractor, Rub-R-Wall actually came out the next Monday/Tuesday and the work was completed to my satisfaction. The drain at the bottom of the basement stairs changed and I am still nervous that their solution will work, but that remains to be seen. In the end, the work was done to my satisfaction and Jack and his crew were very professional when on-site. However, they missed appointments four times on a two-day job.
