the project went very well. the owner Larry Rudis managed the project and it was on time and Larry was very courteous. The project cost 8,600 and Larry removed 2 layers of shingles and replace rotted out wood. I would hire and recommend them.

We recently had our roof replaced, and I want to wholeheartedly recommend Lake Point Roofing as a company you should consider for any future roofing projects. I first met Derek Wojcik, a partner in the company, when I asked him to come to my home to review a leak that I noticed in my second floor bedroom. After inspecting my roof, he told me that he had found the source of the leak and would fix it on the spot. After repairing the leak, I thanked him and asked him what I owed him. His response was "no charge". He's also made a couple of other minor tweaks with my gutters without charge. Derek quoted me a price to replace my roof in November 2016. When I decided to replace the roof this year, he told me that he would maintain the same price quoted last year. His team arrived at my home at approximately 7:30 and went right to work, tearing off the existing shingles and replacing them. They also lined my built-in gutters with modified Bitumen, and installed steel angle iron on all the gutters to prevent overflow. Upon completion, they meticulously cleaned up to the point that you wouldn't know that any work had been done. In all my dealings with Derek he has proven to be meticulous in detail, extremely hard working, does what he says he's going to do, and manages a crew of top notch roofers. I don't think we'll have need of Lake Point Roofing's services to replace a roof again, but I would certainly use them again.

I worked mostly with Derek (but also Larry) to get a fairly complicated project completed. It started in the fall of '16, but was pushed to the spring of '17. They kept their quote, worked around the porch builders, explained in great detail what they would do, and did exactly what they said. Both flat roofs. Price was fair / competitive, warranty good and they were very polite. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Lake Point Roofing was very attentive to detail, thorough, tidy before and after the job, and professional. I am very pleased with the results of my new roofs, and would recommend their services. In addition, my neighbor, who works with roofing contractors, watched throughout the installation process, and told me that they did an excellent job.

I was very pleased with the work. They were prompt and fast. Even did extra things that came up during the project without increasing the price. I highly recommend. The new roof adds to the look of the house.

Roofing materials dropped off on Wed. evening. Roofers arrive at 7 AM Thursday, a very large team. Entire job was finished by 3 PM, same day. Roof looks great, keeps rain out. Flashing was 1st rate. Since a large number of roofers completed the job in only one day, there was no concern re rainy days--roof was installed on a nice sunny day. Job clean-up excellent.

Larry was great to work with. The work was done when he said it would and in the timeframe he originally specified. We had a lot of questions, and he was patient in providing us information and answering us.

Derek at Lake Point Roofing is great. He took the time to go over my options and go about a solution in the most cost effective way. My job was small, but he was able to squeeze me in fairly quickly. 
I have been having a lot of trouble finding my "go to" roofer .. and I think my search is over.
I've got more coming down the pipe for these guys once my new porch and awning is completed. 

They are very good. I have used them in the past. They are on time and do great work. Would definitely use them again.

I originally called Lake Point Roofing because I had ice damming this winter with leakage all through my house. I wanted to assess the damage and see what it would cost to make the roof so that this would not happen again. Derek came to the house himself and checked the damage inside and also on the roof. He even knocked some of the ice off that was still there. He gave me an estimate to repair the roof, feeling that that would be all that I would need. Being the pessimist that I am, I questioned as to how long my roof would last with just a repair and what would the guarantees be with just a repair. Derek discussed the options with me and I decided that I would feel more comfortable with a whole new roof. Derek always returned my calls and my texts promptly. He was concerned about putting the roof on when my dog would be home alone, because of the loud noises. So we worked together to find a date where my dog could be out of the house. Because I am in a townhouse, he was also very careful about picking out the best roof shingle and color to blend with all the neighbors. After installation, he made a point of coming by to talk everything over with me. Derek was always very courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to use Lake Point roofing again in the future.

This is the second time I have used Lake Point roofing, and again I am very happy with the entire process. Derek came out and helped me understand better my attic's need for ventilation after another company had tried to sell me much more than I needed. I had not expected to go with a solar fan, which costs more than an electric one, bit he explained that it would save on electricity, was eligible for a tax credit, and was much quieter--which means a lot since it is just above a bedroom. I greatly appreciate the way he took the time to evaluate and explain my house's individual needs, and actually warned me away from doing work I didn't need. The work itself was well done, and I know from past experience that if I ever have a problem they will be right back to resolve it. The fan is already making a big difference in the temperature upstairs. Even with excellent insulation, I always needed to keep the house colder than necessary downstairs to keep the 2nd floor from being too hot. Now the temperature is even throughout the house. I would recommend Lake Point Roofing to anyone and I will turn to them again when it is time to replace the roof.

I used Lake Point because they used to be part of Mader Roofing in Oak Park. I was hoping their quotes would be near enough to the previous quotes I had gotten from Mader Roofing three years earlier, and indeed they were right at the three year old quote if not cheaper. They were friendly, responsive, quick and efficient. I am very happy with the work they did.

Larry and his crew are exceptional. Our mid-century modern home has three different roof styles--a flat roof over our bedrooms, a very low slope/cathedral roof over the living room, and a regular gable roof over the kitchen. We sought advice from the National Roofing Contractor's Association regarding how best to handle our roof replacement, insulation and ventilation, and we consulted our Village inspector regarding same. We also met with several roofing contractors for quotes on our roof replacement project, and not only was Larry's quote competitive, but his attention to this project was exemplary. Larry's company is a member of the NRCA, which was important to us as consumers. Larry met with us on several occasions to discuss the pros and cons of our unique roof situation, and we worked out a plan for having our carpenter insulate our roof during the flat roof tear off process. We had spent so much time researching and coordinating this project so that by the time it came for us to choose a shingle color, we just wanted it to be over. Larry cautioned us that since we had so carefully researched the techincal aspects of this project, we shouldn't rush the shingle color selection step as he wanted us to be happy with the look of the roof in the end. We were able to call Larry's shingle supplier and get addresses of homes with the colored shingles we were considering. This was an invaluable step in the process. You cannot choose a shingle color by looking at a few feet of shingles on a board. We would have been sorely disappointed if we had selected our initial color choice as it looked much too light when it was on an actual house. In addition, we were impressed with Derek and the entire installation crew. They were neat and respectful of us and our property, and pointed out a chimney condensation problem to us with concern and care for our home. We love our new roof, and we highly recommend Lake Point Roofing.

I hired Lake Point because their price, while not the lowest, was lower than most, and more importantly they are a local business (Oak Park) and came well reviewed. They did the work as planned, but I had some concerns which they addressed right away at no charge. When water was still coming in to my upstairs bedroom (in a new place this time), Derek immediately came out and diagnosed the problem. They did another roof repair, this time at cost to them (just an extra 200$ for some pretty extensive repair). They were very helpful and quick and thorough throughout the process and made sure the work was done right.

Chris and crew did a very professional job. The tearoff went smoothly with only one torn screen, which they promptly repaired.
They did a very detailed job cleaning up the debris and dust on the sidewalks and window ledges, even in the flower gardens.
I am very pleased with the whole experience and will have them do another roof for me in Riverside in September.

We had a small leak on the pitched roof of a three-flat condo. We attempted to contact Madder Roofing, which had done work for us before and learned that the owner had retired. Luckily, some of the best guys from Madder started Lake Point Roofing. The name of the company is new, but these guys have a ton of experience. We spoke and they quickly came out to inspect the problem. Vent stacks needed to be sealed and the ridge-vent replaced. They provided an estimate with 3 separate options depending on the extent of the work that we wanted done at the moment. Communication was very easy via phone and email. They came by on a separate day to do the repairs. Every interaction was incredibly pleasant and professional. From the owner, to the foreman, to the workers -- all were great. In the process I learned more about my roof from them and they even noticed some non-roof related problems that they suggested I check out and fix. I will certainly be using Lake Point Roofing again! We are very satisfied with their work.
