Waited for a while to get the project started and finished. It is a messy project but the end result is good for the house because of the cold weather concrete had to be done in stages and it takes a long time.

The guy that came in ended up tearing 3 holes in my faucet nozzle as he cleaned it out and now it drips every time I use the kitchen sink. Second issue was my water heater would die after about 5 minutes. Cannot even fill a bathtub full of hot water. He turned up the water heater nozzle to very hot and it burned my skin, but did not solve the issue of the longevity needed for hot water. I am still waiting for both to be fixed and it is been weeks with no response.

Mario and Kevin did a great job in replacement of all the galvanized pipes with copper. The job did extend to several days due to another customer emergency. Sherry in their office did the scheduling and permits with the Village of Villa Park.

They replaced our 70-year-old clay pipes that ran from under our 4 ft crawlspace all the way out through the front yard. Problem is, they stopped at the parkway, assuming Niles would repair the remaining pipes under the parkway and street up to the mainline sewer. Niles does not! I had to hire another plumber when tree roots and broken pipes backed up again 2 months later. The new plumbers did a much better job explaining and cleaning up. Backfilled the grass with soil, not leaving a big mound of old clay. These guys also left the mess of the crawl space. We had to reline the Permaseal vapor liner they cut but did not reseal and old leftover water molded much of what we had stored down there. Overall, a big dirty job, but done better by the 2nd company we had to hire to finish the job.
