People's Choice Heating & Air Conditioning

I needed an air conditioner repaired at my property. They came out in a timely manner and was able to get my air conditioner up and running the same day. No pressure sales and very professional. I recommend them.

I was very impressed with People's Choice. Dave, the sales and service person who sold my daughter her unit and who installed my unit was very professional and took time to answer all our questions. Wayne, the owner, was very approachable on the phone about the price of the units and gave us what we thought were very competitive bids for the units and installation. When Dave came to install our new air conditioner, he found quite a mess. The original coil installed in 1979 had been sloppily and incorrectly installed and as a result the frame upon which our heating unit and fan assembly sat was very badly corroded. Also, the actual unit mount outside had sagged under shifting soil. Dave and crew spent 10 hours completely rebuilding the support unit around the new coil to support the heater/blower assembly as well as incorporating 7 50# bags of pea gravel which they used to completely rebuild correctly the outside mount. Once the unit was finally installed, Dave returned a few days later when warmer temperatures permitted in order to make sure the new unit had the correct amount of coolant. He found that the coolant installed at the factory was about 50% of what was needed (because of the long line from the outside compressor to the inside coil). He corrected that and all was well. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who asks me about a HVAC outfit who does good work the first time! Also of prime importance...they arrived every time when they said they would!

I used this company the first time a few months ago for one of my rentals' client and Wayne the owner came. I was very happy with his service, his honesty, the time he took to check to pinpoint the problem, to do extra testing, to explain to me the options. Great guy. Unfortunately when my own furnace went down, I called again and got Brad. Brad spent 5 minutes and thought it was the sensor that needed to be cleaned which he did but after he left the problem was still there. Cost me $65 for nothing. I did not feel he really cared, He had two more people to go to after me and seemed in a hurry to leave. Then when I called back the company, Brad told me that I needed to change the furnace. Perhaps if he had waited a little longer he would have noticed not only that the furnace was still acting up and that the hot air was very weak. When he came to see me, I asked him info on new furnace and if he wanted to look where the compressor was. He said no. When I asked him if he could measure the degree of heat in the furnace like Wayne did before, he said he did not have the tool. Very disappointing.

It was great service!

I have allergies and asthma and it was like 200 degrees and I was desperate and I was willing to go the extra night because I felt like something was not right with the price that they gave me. You can usually get a furnance and a compressor for 1800 dollars.
