Start to finish everything was professional. Responses came nearly immediately before the job. Service workers were polite and personable. Showed up on time, got to work and got done. While the basement was mostly clear there were a couple large items that needed accommodating. They moved them and put them back when they were done. Very pleased.

Bluestone came out to remove an asbestos wrapping on a pipe. They arrived on time, were very cordial and professional, and finished within the specified time frame. They cleaned everything up afterwards and did a great job. They also refered me to an air testing specialist and took care of all the permit work for me. I would recommend them to anyone who needs this kind of work to be done.

We had water seepage/damage in our basement and had to pull up all of our floor tiles in 2 rooms in the basement before we could install a new sump pump/drainage tile system. The floor tiles looked suspicious for asbestos containing materials (ACM). We took a sample of the floor tile to Bussey Environmental to be tested. Bussey confirmed that the tile (but not the mastic underneath) contained ACM. Bussey recommended Bluestone to remove and abate the floor tiles and mold. We hired Bluestone and they gave us a very detailed proposal (much more detailed than other proposals we received) and a reasonable price. Bluestone arrived on the appointed time and day (even came a little earlier). The crew chief was James (Jimmy) Santellano. Jimmy was very professional and friendly and could not have been more accommodating. Bluestone removed all of the floor tiles and abated the mold in the basement rooms. They performed the work in accordance with strick industry standards for removal of hazardous materials. They finished the job in about 6-7 hours and after they finished we had the air tested for both asbestos and mold. We passed all of the tests. Bluestone left the job both clean and neat and ready for the next phase of our basement work. We would recommend Bluestone very highly.

I got estimates from several companies but Bluestone was the only one that actually came to my house to look at it. Ron was my estimator and he did a great job explaining what they would do and answering all the questions I had about the job. Bluestone had the lowest bid with the Angie's list discount (was in the very middle of the three without it) so I went with them. They were able to schedule it for the following week. Will and his crew were here a few minutes before 7 am, and he took plenty of time to go over the work site with me and show me what they were going to do. They were all super professional, did what looked to me like a great job isolating the room and were ready for the air testing guy (who I had hired myself but they communicated with as far as timing when he needed to be there) by early afternoon. It passed the air clearance test and they quickly broke down the worksite. I had been worried about yucky black mastic getting splashed onto things but the room is actually quite clean and is waiting for step two of this process - the waterproofers.
