IT went great ! After getting a bid for 799 from another local company I called bennet who gave me a quote over the phone based on square footage of 2400 square ft. (not counting my basement ) . They esitmated it was a 2 hour job (and they were right) .
. The only difference between the company who quoted me the 799 and what Bennett said theyd do was the 799 people used cameras to look in your ducts (all or one im not sure) before and after. I didnt feel an extra 300$ justified that cost.
Two guys showed up on time, they were professional and courteous. I also inquired about checking and cleaning my AC coils . One guy worked on the duct cleaning while the other checked and cleaned my coils. He showed them to me , and discussed maintenece. He also pointed out care and maintenece for the entire system since wed just bought the home and everything was new to us. I really appreciated that ! It was a bit over 2 hours when you added in the ac cleaning so my total bill was 400$ . I would definetly hire them again !

I called Bennett's HAVC this morning and stated my air conditioning unit was only blowing out warm air. This had happened the night before and we just turned the unit off and opened windows.
The operator stated that someone could be out today. I stated we would be home after lunch as we had an appointment to go to. Mr. Bennett came to service the unit himself at approximately 12:30.
He had the problem identified in 5 minutes - told me what the problem was, replaced the capacitor, asked me to turn the unit
on to make sure it was cooling properly. He stated he was going to recharge the freon and clean the condensing coils because debris had collected on them. He finished the job in 20 minutes.
I highly recommend this company to anyone in his service area for any heating , air-conditioning problems they have.

The crew was very unprofessional. Left a mess and garbage in work area. Had to return many times to fix problems, which they never did. Complained of being hot (that is was the problem, my heat would not shut off). If the boss would come to my house, he would tell the crew what to do,explain to me what was happeining and tell me that in a few hours everything would be done. The crew would leave 15 minutes after the boss and my house would STILL be hot. Again I would call and they would be back with the same excuses. Argued with me that the problems existed before they started. I finally hired someone else to finish.

When our heat went out on a cold night (2 days after we moved in), Jeff answered the phone immediately from his truck, and told me that there were 3 clients ahead of us, but that he would be out that night to get us heat. He arrived about 1 hour later, found the problem, gave us a temporary fix that would keep us warm until he could get the part needed, and did not charge us anything that night. The part arrived 2 days later, his crew came out to fix the problem, and things are fine now. Jeff stated that he would "never let anyone go without heat" and I believe him!
