Rotted Wood Specialist

Replacing rotted wood on house. Very happy with the service and meticulous work that the Rotted Wood Specialists provided. As the staff worked on the project, they uncovered more rot than we initially thought that they replaced as they worked. I have an older house so I am sure that I will be using them in the future.

Absolutely LOVED working with Rotted Wood Specialists!! From the estimate process on through the results, they were professional, dependable, reasonable and the workmanship was superb! Curtis is a master at carpentry and his expertise was matched only by his tenacity and dedication to making each and every cut of wood perfect. He’s FAST too! I had a large job spanning 3 floors which took him only 4.5 days and he also addressed the unforeseen problems found after removing some of the windows. He was relentless and didn’t complain. I really liked how he kept me abreast of all the work and provided me with summaries each evening of the work completed that day as well as work scheduled for the following day. Each window was not just repaired but in some cases rebuilt! He primed, painted and stained each with care at completion and now my wood windows all look BRAND NEW for a mere fraction of what new ones were quoted by others. I’m sooo happy — THANK YOU CURT!!

Clint came to provide an estimate of the work. He advised replacement of the 6"x6"x8ft post instead of repair as the apearance would have been less than desirable if simply repaired. That option had not crossed my mind and I agreed. The price for the work was immediately relayed by RWS and the work was scheduled for within the next week. Clint was punctual and was able to finish the work in 1.5 hr. The work was professional and topnotch. He made sure to clean the work area, remove the waste debris and explain the work that was done. I am extremely happy with the result and most highly recommend Clint and Rotted Wood Specialist.

Highly professional. Curtis has an incredible work ethic, is honest, and is a craftsman. He worked long hours to get the job done and was meticulous. Some windows had severe rot and looked as if needed to be replaced. We were able to keep our windows and saved a lot of money by repairing rather than replacing. We are extremely happy we went with this company and highly recommend it. If A+ were an available rating, I would pick that. Repaired rot on 20-30 windows and frames and a couple of patio doors. A big project that took over a week with Curtis working 12-14 hour days. He even repaired a little rot he spotted on the frame to our garage. Replacement with even cheaper vInyl windows was estimated at $28,000-$35,000 and new patio doors were $2,000 each. The repair saved us a lot of money and enabled us to keep our higher quality wood windows.
