I like my plumber.  It is a small operation, but the guy has been really fair on price and stuff.  I had that pipe replaced a couple of times because it is an external spigot to the hose, so it has broken pretty frequently.  He is probably 30% less than the others in his pricing.  I would tell others that I get a fair price, he does good work, and I feel good about getting a good job done at a reasonable price.  Since it is a smaller operation, it would probably be the owner coming out to do the work.  Sometimes if it is a real bigger job he will give me a referral and those guys seem to be reasonably priced too.  His responsiveness and punctuality is probably a little lower because it is just one guy, so unless it is an emergency he is probably is not coming out the same day.  He shows up when he says he will.
