Tom Jr gave listened to our general requirements and gave us advice on types of plants to install to meet our desires. We required that the existing be become almost maintenance free Plants were selected and tagged with our names. They gave us a soft schedule but came a week before the scheduled time. They arrived on time, Tom Jr. marked the planting areas and went above and beyond the job that we had requested. He relocated rubber mulch and installed stone. They installed border pavers to keep the stone located within the planting area. They also installed a drain for the downspout under the planting bed. His men worked hard and finished the job early, cleaned up after themselves and were a pleasant crew. The price is what we our guesstimate was before we started the project. All in all, we were completely satisfied.

Totally unresponsive, we asked them to come but they did not come out, I don't recommend the company based on experience.

Ended up growing a fungus. Was not happy. Did not disclose at the time of trimming. Came out when they said they would.

It went well. The contractor worked closely with me on schedule. Also, the contractor made some last minute changes and was fair in pricing the changes.

I got an estimate and wanted to move forward with the work but the owner would never call me back.  They have done work for me in the past and I was highly satisfied.  If they are too busy for my business then they should just say so instead of leaving me hanging.  I wasted a few weeks waiting for calls to be returned that never were.  I would never use them again.

I am very happy with the service I received.  Tim helped me with the layout of plants and shrubs around my deck and also in the front of my townhome.  He is very knowledgeable and had selected really great plants.  I can't wait until spring to see how it all blooms.  The two employees who performed all the work did a great job.  They worked extremely hard and cleaned up the yard after they were done.

I was very happy with this company and would recommend them to my family and friends.

I called a few places trying to find someone to do this -- what I suppose is a bit of an unusual job -- and didn't meet with much luck until I called Home Landscape and talked with Tom Sr. there. Thankfully, he was very helpful and did a great job coordinating with the village and underground locating service to have all the utility lines marked properly before the digging began. The workers who came were very courteous and did all-around great work, and I couldn't be more pleased with the end result. Thanks a lot.

Exemely well. When I first heard the price I was somewhat shocked however after I considered that they had to work in a confined area because the wall was behind my fence holding back a higher grade of earth which only gave them a space of about 2 ' wide to work in (the fence is vinyl and sunk in cement so the panels cannot be removed without replacing the entire 110' section)  To make matters worse when I had originally built the retaining wall I hammered rebar through all the rows of timbers to tie them together and keep them from separating or collapsing inward. To make matters worse there were nests of yellow jackets which didn't look to kindly to being evicted and stung Tom on the 1st day when he tried to take measurements and because of him being allergic to the sting wound up getting treated at the hospital. So given the working conditions and the amount of labor involved the price was more than reasonable.
 Now regarding the workmanship I cannot say enough about the attention to detail and expertise displayed by Tom's workers, Fred & El Toro (that was his nickname because I couldn't pronounce his name). There was also a younger laborer, Victor, for one day and they really worked the rookie hard (maybe that's why he only showed up for 1 day). Even though the retaining wall was behind the fence and hidden from view they installed it with the attitude like it would have been in my front lawn, it turned out absolutely perfect and everyone that has seen it is completely impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. In addition they also removed some crumbled asphalt that I had swept from the street in front of my house and then  used for grading against my foundation to help the water to drain away from my foundation wall, (if anybody thinks this is a good idea think again, a recent sump  pump failure which caused 3" of basement water while I was on vacation, was mixed with oil from the oil based asphalt draining into my drain tiles, getting into my sump well and creating an oily mess in my entire basement). I would never have thought this could happen had I not witnessed it for myself. So they removed all this fill and replaced it with the excavated earth from the retaining wall, something that was a complete afterthought on my part but they were happy to oblige. It was so nice to have dedicated workers on the job who took pride in their work and hard work it was. I can't imagine having to do that again myself now at my age.  Great experience all the way around.

I contacted them in late March/ early April to get an estimate on replacing the landscaping in the front of my house.  The original landscaping was almost 20 years old.   Due to the very late spring I was one of only a couple of people that had contacted them for a work proposal.   They were able to schedule the work as soon as the plant materials arrived and the weather allowed.  
The design they proposed was excellent with a mix of some of the newer plant varieties that can handle the shade but provide color at the same time.  When the crew arrived, Tim, one of the owners came with them and we again reviewed the plans.  Since his initial visit some Hostas I had, came up and he immediately made changes with my approval to divide them and use them in the landscape design.  I was very happy with this since these are very large hostas and have performed very well for me in the past.The plant materials provided were in excellent condition and were placed in areas where they would thrive with the available light.  The additional work of edging and putting mulch around the house went very well.  Tim even suggested some changes to the existing borders that made the area really pop.   
When the work was completed the clean up was meticulous.   Other than the work they had done you could not even tell a work crew had been on site for an entire day.  It has now been about a month since the work was done and all the plants are doing very well.   I appreciated the freshness of the design and the small suggestions that made a big difference to the appearance of my house.

They came out and repaired lighting and buried the electrical lines without disturbing the surrounding plants. 
Dug out the dead tree and planted a new one along with bringing in new soil and removed all the debris from the dead tree 
and used a blower afterwards to completely clean up the area.

The planting went very well.
The tree looked great last fall.
We saw however that the tree was struggling this spring.
Tom sent his crew out in April with a brand new tree.
It looks great and we will enjoy our new tree now.
I recommend this company for any of your landscaping needs.

The quote would have been good but another quote came in better. Everything was good. The owner was more than informed, polite, he gave me good insights and everything else. It was a good experience. I think the quote was reasonable. He came close to his time.

Tom was very professional and easy to work with.  His team was professional as well, very polite and timely.  The work was performed with quality and we were always informed of any changes or details.  We would work with Tom again.  Our home now has the curb appeal it needed.

Very happy with the work that was done, everything from the estimate to the final product.  Tim Tuch came out to do the estimate.  I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted.  I knew the front garden, the way it had totally degraded, had to be totally removed and redesigned. He provided several suggestions and within a matter of minutes we had a plan both of us could agree upon and that I was very happy with.  He later sent me an estimate that detailed the work to be done and materials to be provided. Well within the range of what I was figuring.  The project took two days, just as he said ahead of time with two workers. The brickwork, in particular was very professionally done. I've already gotten compliments from neighbors and others who just passed by.  It's really improved the appearance of the front of our house.
