i went in and spoke to Deb. I told her the dimensions of the cabinets and I told her I did not have an island and bar installed yet, but I wanted a countertop for them. Granitex was quick to provide me with an estimate for the dimensions that I provided. when the technician came out, the technician said there will be a half inch over hang. Countertops is not my expertise so I took his word. I gave him the dimensions to the island and bar. I was thinking this company would be professional and would do the job in a professional manner. They delivered the countertop and the island counter top did not have the half inch over hand and it was shorter than the measurement I provided. I spoke to Roland via phone. He tried to speak professionally, but thats the extend to his professionalism. I explained to him that my wife and I were taken advantage off because countertops were not our expertise. Roland is refusing to correct their error and expects my wife and I to pay for a new slab so they can make a new island countertop. I then received an email from Deb raising false allegations that they were not made aware of the island and bar not being installed and raised other false allegations attempting to put the blame on me. I went to this company because I was referred. it was the worse mistake I have ever done. this company is far from professional and this company does not take responsibility for their errors and negligence. the cost of their error is too much to let go. There hasnt been any resolution and there will not be a rest to this until the matter is resolved.

"Mr. Anthony, we are sorry you feel that way. Fact: the initial measure was done on Dec 7, during this measure you provide the island size you would like us to be made. We did measure l shape kitchen and dry bar top. On Dec 14 team did installation for your countertops. We agreed to Install the kitchen and deliver the island to your home leave it in the garage because you were not able to have island cabinets installed before Dec 14. I said it is fine as long we can leave it. You did send back not just an island bet as a well dry bar back to shop. A couple of days later called us back and informed us that now you are ready for Install. Deb explained to you that it is difficult to come back due to the holiday rush. The main reason we agreed to keep the island at your home not to have sent the Install truck back and be able to come and just carry from the garage. I did not charge you anything for the 2 Nd trip. We manage and find time on Dec 19 to send a team back. Around 9:30 am you called me and stated that the bar is too long for existing cabinets as well I did receive pictures from the team and apparently, you did change cabinets to completely different for the dry bar after the final measure. I Did speak with you and discuss that we did measure cabinet with partial glass door with snowman and Christmas tree decorations this is dry bar cabinet we measure. As well team send over some pictures of the island top that island top is not wide enough about 3 in. from dimensions you provide to us to be cut (39x108), on the same day we discussed and stated that I can not do anything about, just To send you a new proposal. We agreed that you will receive from us a new proposed contract to make a new island due to the wrong size provided by you and to cut down the dry bar top due to cabinet changes after measurements were done all being an extra cost to you. If you want to sit down and go over again no problem please schedule a time come into the office and I will meet you. Granitex is taking full responsibility for the measurements, we were measuring. As you have seen it fits great if we do this. As per our discussion, we have provided options of us measuring for you to avoid additional errors, You did not go this route and provided Island dimensions yourself, I do feel bad that you did a mistake, but Granitex can not be held responsible. I do have to attach pictures of cabinets, we measure and what you have at the moment."

Granitex, Corp. helped us fix our undermount kitchen sink that was detached from the granite. They were professional and simplified what could have been an expensive/complicated repair. They showed up the same day we called and reattached the undermount sink quickly and for a reasonable rate. We are very pleased with the result and will be using them for any granite jobs we need.

Roland was great in recommending different things we could do to utilize all of the space in my new kitchen layout, I was very grateful for his input and suggestions. There were so many different options of quartz, it was hard to decide! The guys who came to install were great and did a wonderful job. Couldn't be happier!!

Roland and his team were very helpful in working with us to find the best countertops to fit our kitchen and budget. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was due to some sloppy caulking by the two guys who installed them. Roland came out to fix the issue and made it look less obvious, but it was still noticeable to us. I would suggest asking for Roland to personally install the countertops to make sure the craftsmanship is up to his specifications. Overall though they were a pleasure to work with and we would use them again.

I received a call from their office and explained my project, the same day I made my HomeAdvisor request. The office manager called the owner to be sure he could do it, and within a couple hours she called me back to say that he could stop by that evening or the next. Roland, the owner, called when about 45 minutes away and showed up when expected. He was friendly, informative, professional and efficient. Roland drilled two holes in our existing granite countertops to accommodate a soap dispenser and water filter system. It was fast and easy, and I really appreciate someone for whom "no job is too small," as many other places couldn't be bothered with such a small project.

I hired Grantex to install 2 new countertops in our new kitchen, one of which was a large island. Robert was initially helpful and courteous and offered a good price. Unfortunately, the quartz island slab developed a very large (16") crack within 3 weeks of being installed. Clearly it was not installed properly. The supply company that Grantex purchases from offered to provide a new slab for free, but Grantex wanted me to pay them for their time to install the new slab after I had already paid them thousands of dollars. I continued to express my disappointment, but they cut me off and stopped returning my calls/emails. NOT TRUSTWORTHY!

For more than 1 year I have been trying to get a contractor to install my granite the way I wanted. Robert was fantastic, not only doing what he saie, but doing timely and a a reasonable cost. When my plumber came to reinstall my kitchen faucets he so admired the work that I gave him Grantex's number so he can refer others to them.

robert was extremely helpful. very fair price and a great selection of stone and manufactured materials. we were quoted double from a number of well known companies. installed in under two weeks when all other stone companies estimated at least one month. got it in just before christmas. they really went above and beyond.
