 + -1 moreOverall this is a small, well defined project. After three days of work and continuing cost increases Paul was unable to complete the project. He would come every day for three days for a few hours, start things, leave them in the middle and move on to the next thing. Over the three days my furnace was out of commission completely, ducting was torn and left open in several places, pipes were run and left half way. In addition, he made several specific mistakes: oversized return air vent for the duct available, used wrong type of boot for return air vent, used wrong tape to seal vents. Behind he left tools and parts all over the basement including... a tool left inside the furnace! Paul was grumpy all the time he was doing work and unhappy, seemed to lack energy or drive to get the project done. Demanded more and more money mid-project for even the most basic things.
Description of Work: Five Star Mechanical was asked to do three things: install additional four supply and return air vents in the basement, install bathroom exhaust fan, install new furnace air filter.
