Formerly tiger bath does less than quality work. They did a conversion here barely screwed in the plastic nut for the drain pipe to the shower causing a major leak downstairs. They put tile floors in without mortaring to floor to save money and not acceptable by most operations today. The quality of workmanship is sub standard and saving a few bucks the homeowner winds up paying for sub standard quality parts, plumbing and workmanship in the long run. Try and get them to honor a warranty after the work! Good luck! Maybe that's why they've changed their name AGAIN.

The company outsources its scheduling and possibly sales associates. I was contacted on Sunday and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday @ 6:00 pm. The scheduler called today to confirm the Wednesday appointment, but had the time as 2:00 pm. The scheduler couldn't honor the original appointment time, and did not have an open 6:00 pm time slot until next week. This has caused me to cancel my appointment and look at other vendors.

They didn't know that the village of Buffalo Grove, IL required the licensed plumber to be onsite during the rough-in inspection. The inspector came (on the 2nd day of the job) and left without doing the inspection because the plumber was not on site. The installer really hustled to get a plumber in later that day when the inspector could return, however the job was delayed. The installer couldn't come back on the 3rd day (Friday) because he had another job in another town. He called and asked if I could wait until Monday (mind you this was my only functioning tub/shower in the unit). I told him I could not wait and he returned on Saturday to finish the job. So the 1-2 day job turned into a 4-day wait for me. Despite the delay, which was very frustrating, they did a really good job and were very professional in all areas.

never went past "estimate". we sat through a 90min presentation and were expected to go for another hour to get to the estimate part. Well we baled after the 90min introduction, so while I can't comment on their work, I DO NOT like their sales tactics

The meeting with the saleswoman Elisabeth Bell went well. We needed this work done to ease my 78 year old Mothers day to day. So after a do it now price and if I leave much larger price we went ahead and signed to get started on 11-2-16. That is when we were informed that they were so very busy and because we had a window in the unit ,the work could not start for 5 or 6 weeks. We needed this done and since there was no rush ,we would just have to wait. Because we needed the rest of the room redone I asked the sales woman if she had a contractor that Tiger had worked with in the past and that was familiar with their routine and procedure. She gave me a name right away ,I called and met with him to discuss the job ,and signed with him on 11-2-16. So far so good I thought but that is when the trouble started. My mother has pets and she also gets very anxious and upset with the change in her routine so I found a pet friendly hotel ,booked the room and fortunately left the check out date open,that would pay off later. I called Tiger on 12-28-16 ,a full 8 weeks later because I had not heard from them at all .I explained about the hotel and the reason for it and was told there was a problem getting our surround ,so we agreed to start on 1-12-17. On 12-29-16 the I called the contractor ( who was suggested by Tiger but was not connected) to remove the sink because the final fit measure guy said that it would interfere with the surround unit, he agreed to be there on 1-11-17 ,before the install to get everything right and he did just that. he did plenty of demo work to make the install go smoothly. On 1-12-17 Tigers installer shows up only to start off with all of the reasons that he would not be able to do my work.The floor needs to be redone ,the walls should be finished first .the ceiling needed to be finished first. An that he had a guy that would show up that day and do all the work he felt needed to be done and that he would call me tomorrow to set up a return date. He basically said to do the entire remodel first then he could come in and match everything up. Two thing were clear, he was hustling work for his buddy and that he clearly wanted to return to another job to finish ,rather that start my work. I did bathroom remodels with different contractors right out of high school ,I was a stick build carpenter for a while and then became a heavy equipment operator for the next 27 years. I feel that I understand how things work in construction and I was not going to do the remodel the way that the installer wanted,so I explained that I already had a contractor and he wanted to know if I had signed anything , meaning that no signature meant that he may still be able to get his buddy work. I made it clear that I had already singed and that his buddy would have to get other work and that I would talk to him tomorrow just to get him out of my Mothers home.He told me that with other jobs lined up he could not get back until 1-18-17 at the soonest I called my contractor ,told him what happened and that he would at least have to come and redo the sub floor. He came over that afternoon and stayed until 6:00p.m.to redo the sub floor and start the drywall on the ceiling. He returned the next day Friday 1-13-17 ,he finished the sub floor and the ceiling (without paint) so that there could be no reason for Tiger not to start. During the course of the day he suggested that I call Tiger and tell them what happened ,so that is what I did. I spoke with a service manager Leatha Holland who toed the company line ,oh we are sorry that our installer did that.And no they do not dispatch themselves and no they can not get work for their buddies but you will have to wait to be re scheduled. We spoke again on or around the 1-14-17 and then she stopped responding to me at all. on 1-16-17 I was called by Tiger and that a crew would start 1-17-17, and they did. After all of the nonsense and delays the crew that showed up did a nice job, all in one day. Why did I not get this crew in the first place? I am guessing that they sent the good crew only after I complained and after it all went south. But that is not the end. Because of all of the delays directly due to Tiger Bath ,your surround is not here , here is our shadiest installer , cannot reschedule you it is Friday. The schedule with my contractor got all screwed up and with him having to do the floor and ceiling before Tiger would do there work ,caused him to leave other jobs ,so he put me off until 1-23-17. I make it clear I do not really care about his other jobs ,my Mother is still at the hotel at 120.00 a night and that we need to get done. He came on 1-23-17 for the day, then did not return until 1-26-17 to finish which he did. So because he went beyond the scope of the contract which we agreed to it cost me another 300.00 over the agreed price. Had Tiger sent a competent ,professional, installer on 1-12-17 instead of the shady one, my Mother would have only been in the hotel 4 days instead of 8 .As soon as the toilet and shower were ready for safe use I brought her home and she only had to deal with 2 days of painting and paneling and flooring. the extra hotel cost was another 480.00. Thanks to Tigers nonsense I was out around 800.00 . I said earlier that I could not get any response from Tiger after 1-17-17 ,I am sure that because I had paid the bill ,they had their money. tough luck for me. I at least expected some feed back on my having to pay 800 dollars more because of them ,but all i received was a letter hoping that I would recommend them and 2 cards worth 100.00 from a scam called restaurant .com . I returned the letter and the scam cards to the person who was supposably the director of operations, with a letter explaining that they had cost me a lot of money and that had they just sent out a competent crew in the first place the job would have been finished on the schedule agreed to and not 2 weeks later. And as I expected I did not receive any response , They had their money . With all that said the surround does look great. And my contractor Ruben Gonzales from Humanitarian Developers Inc. did a nice job finishing everything off. And now ,5 months later I can finally write the review. It all seems typical construction. Sales people sell a promise, the installer FINALLY finishes, the contractor overbooks himself so there are delays and arguments until it is finished. So at some point you can just forget the whole giant mess and enjoy the results.

Work went rather smoothly. Tiger filed for and received a permit in advance. (Downers Grove required a permit and plumbing inspection.) Joe performed the demolition neatly and began installation on day one. Mike handled the plumbing re-work. Day two passed plumbing inspection and work was completed. First shower 24 hours later sure felt good.

The salesman was great and we signed the contact on Oct 14, 2016. The measuring guy was great and double checked everything. Only concern was with the fabrication time. Installation was really great but happened Jan 16 and 17.
