I appreciated that Michael Benison of MSB Remodeling quickly scheduled an on-site estimate and he sent me an invoice of his estimate. I ordered the door hardware I wanted and he got the doors and special hinges I wanted. He came on Monday, August 19, 2019 to install two interior doors (one solid and one hollow) and to install door hardware on those doors and replace the hardware on a third door. We had a 9 AM appointment; he texted me at 8 am to let me know an issue in getting one of the doors and would be arriving late. He got me the extended door hinges I required (for wheelchair access) for one of the doors. One door required him to trim the 6 panel textured door to look even and fit the door frame. This took some time but he had all the proper equipment (table saw, etc) to get it done. He did a final walk-through and double checked every screw, hinge etc was in place. Michael is very professional and a friendly, personable guy. Sidenote: I was having a computer issue while he was working nearby me and he helped me figure out the problem. That was so sweet of him. Phone calls and texting was how we communicated and he also sent me the invoice to my email per my request. Door Slab Installation was $100.00 per door. I also paid $132.00 for a 30" x 80" solid core 6 panel door (Textured) and $45.00 for a 36" x 80" hollow core 6 panel door (Textured) and $27.00 for 3 extended door hinges (wheelchair access). It took about 7 hours because trimming the 6 panel door down (to look even on both sides and deal with the hinge area) takes a lot of time.
