Roof started leaking, took awhile to get thru the insulation of attic., but did penetrate thru to the ceilings & was damaging the plaster. Finally in Aug/Sept of 2010 after several attempts by Ellis Construction Co. to repair with caulk, I had to take legal litigation action against them. I had the Kenloc Manufacturing Co. Rep. come out & access the roof installation and Kenloc found all the issues that would have caused the warranty of the Kenloc Steel Roof to be voided. I had no recourse other than to sue the Ellis Construction Co. who attempted to install the roof. So from Aug/Sept of 2010 and a course of a 2 yr. litigation process with attorneys and legal fees that continued thru Jan. of 2012, when finally they settled out of court,. I am not at liberty to discuss any further details or amounts of settlement,It was a very emotional and bad experience, therefore I could never recommend them to do any work of any kind in the future.
Description of Work: Kenloc Standing Seam Hidden Fastener Steel roof was to be installed with all new items that a steel roof would need. (drip edge, vented ridge etc.)
