I am sorry to have to leave negative feedback for DVD, but they did not make good on our deal. We bought a Beko dishwasher and it came with a rebate. When we tried to get the rebate, Beko refused to honor it even though it was valid. We contacted DVD to assist which they promised to do. It has been over a month now and DVD just keeps giving us the run-around. Terrible customer service. I won't buy from them again.

I purchased a washer. Was told for x dollars I would get a warranty covering the washer. Washer breaks two months outside of manufacture warranty. Call DVD store tells me one thing is covered. Tech shows up tells me another thing is covered. Tech was here Monday at 9:00am. It’s now Wednesday at 3:00pm and still haven’t received quote for the price of repair. Call the store push option for repair sit on hold for 3 minutes get no response. Call back and push option for sales someone immediately answers and transfers me to same line where nobody answers. Call back ask for a manager. Guy says he’s the sales manager but knows absolutely nothing and is zero help. Transfers me to someone in charge of customer service. They inform me that they can’t quote me the price or any details only the tech who was here can do it and they can’t get a hold of him but will have him call me. I basically wasted the money on the extended warranty bc it was sold under misleading details. I can’t get my diagnostic fee back because they claimed he did his job, which he didn’t since the quote to repair is part of the diagnostic fee. So I’ll just be sitting here waiting for who knows how long to hear who knows what. They wonder why chains are dying, this is why.

We had a very strange and frustrating experience with Dick Van D*** service repair in Bloomington.  Without going into the details, we had four trips to our house, multiple unreturned calls, and no diagnosis of the issue on our Frigidaire refrigerator.  Despite finally getting a couple of calls back today from Raven and John this company refuses to reimburse us for the $60 fee despite the fact that we never did get a solid diagnosis on the failure.  I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Central Illinois and am seeking further remediation through that channel.  The most frustrating thing here is the total lack of response from Dick Van D*** appliances from December 17th through December 30th despite multiple promises to return my calls.  Terrible customer service and a complete failure on their part, and also a complete lack of accountability on their side for any of this at all.  In speaking with Sr Vice President John Sheppard he actually tried to make ME feel bad about THEIR service failure.  Incredible.  DO NOT use this company for service calls - I should have heeded the multiple negative comments on their own business website.

When my washing machine broke, I needed it fixed fast.
I started calling around to find out who could make it to our house the most quickly. I called Dick Van D***, explaining that time was of the essence. The call center person said and quot;No problem, we can get someone out to look for the problem today!and quot; I was very happy and started giving them my info. Then she is like and quot;Oh, I am sorry, the appointment for today is available anymore, someone else must have taken it, what about tomorrow?and quot;
I took the appointment for tomorrow.
The next day came. I called early in the morning to see what time they were coming. Guess what? I wasnt on even on the schedule that day but further out into the future.
The woman knew I would not use them if she told me how far out they were booking so she lied about when we were on the schedule. Bait and switch tactics.

On their website they state under the service section:
   "Same day service GUARANTEED. Call or purchase a new appliance before noon, Monday through Saturday and we will repair or deliver your appliance the same day!"
    But when I called this morning, I was told it be 5-6 days before they could come to do the repair. I don't know what is their definition of guaranteed, but that's quite a deceptive statement they have on their website!
   I bought a microwave from them a few months ago, and it also took several days to get it installed, so it seems like this is standard procedure for them.  Their technicians are not local, so they only come around town every once in a while. They really should not advertise same day service guaranteed.

My dryer was broken. They do not have same day service for repairs as advertised. It took them 2 days to come out. I am NOT complaining, just stating the time line.The men who came were very nice and very professional. I will use them again and refer to friends.

THE WHOLE PROCESS TOOK 3 MONTHS. THE SALESMAN (ANDY) WORKED WITH OUR CONTRACTOR TO DETERMINE WHEN TO DELIVER THE APPLIANCES. DUE TO BAD SPECS SOME OF THE APPLIANCES DID NOT FIT PROPERLY. ANDY WORKED WITH US TO MAKE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN CARE OF TO OUR SATISFACTION. OVERALL WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH DICK VAN DYKES AND ESPECIALLY THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE ANDY.

They came out one time and didn't fix it. They came back out a second time to fix it but didn't charge me for the service call just for the parts. My overall experience with them was excellent. I will definitely use their services again in the future.
