The 2 cleaners arrived early. Immediately called for more help, and a third person along with the supervisor arrived shortly thereafter. The cleaning was hit or miss. They dusted around things and completely missed under the entertainment center. The floors were NOT scrubbed by hand, but they used a swifter type wet mop. They didn't clean the baseboards at all.The top one foot of my sliding glass door was not cleaned at all. After they had left, we noticed that a family heirloom cross had been knocked off the wall and broken. We called and reported it to the supervisor. She apologized and offered to replace it. We told her that could not be done - it being an heirloom and all. She then offered to take $32.00 off the price of our job. The next day the supervisor, Judy, called to say that after speaking to her staff, they claimed that the cross had been on the floor when they arrived. She then charged us the full price. Luckily, we have security cameras in our house - with signage clearly posted outside. The entire incident is on film. The cleaning "professional" knocking the cross off the wall and leaving it on our kitchen floor. Overall the service was sub par and the personnel lied and covered up for each other. We have disputed the charge on our credit card.

The first time they came, I loved everything about them, but the second time they came, there were different people and they actually missed a lot and they broke two things. They told me they broke my stuff, but did not even offer to replace it or anything. They said if I was upset, I can call.

Everything went very well. Very good. Everything was done timely. I would use them again.

-Arrived an hour and a half late, but they did call saying they would be an hour late and then went to the wrong place.
- Showed them around and went right to work
-Did a really good job cleaning the bathrooms
-When it came time to clean the kitchen they said the stove and fridge were not included and would be $25 extra each, so what does cleaning the kitchen include?
-Did a great job getting tough stains and other stuff off the stove and fridge that I couldnt get off.
-Very friendly and professional.
-I guess they had a new person working so a supervisor came out and inspected the job.

Im handicapped and cant get to the floors, bathroom etc very well. In addition to being handicapped, I had shoulder surgery in June and have had them coming every other week. Ive gotten to where I have 2 and quot; regularand quot; ladies that come and I havent had to call them back lately. Im happy with the 2 regular ones. This past time, one of my regular ladies was gone so I had a sub....when Ive gotten the random ones or this time with a sub.....Ive noticed that things dont get moved, they just get wiped around. I hired cottage care because their brochure clearly states that they wash the floors by hand and since I cant do it anymore after a car accident......that is exactly what I was looking for. Before I was having to call them back almost everytime. Ive got a dog and they kept using a mop on my wood floors and just pushing the dog hair to the edges of the room. Ive stayed with them now that Ive gotten the two ladies I have now....and it works better when you get regular people who will work with you. They have always come back within 24 hours and redone what wasnt done right before. While that is a good thing, it was inconvenient having to take time out of a second day.

I was unimpressed with the overall experience. The way the spa has been talked about I pictured something more warm and elegant but it was not what I expected. The services are pretty pricey. The provider was knowledgable but not particularly friendly. I am a pretty frequent spa goer and am going to shop around before I return.

Cottage Care was very responsive when I asked them to fit my house in right before Thanksgiving. They had to put me on a waiting list and called me daily for an update on their trying to find a time they could get my house done (I had been forced to stay in bed with back problems so the house was pretty dirty). Their kind attention to my need made me feel confident they would do a thorough job. When they arrived they went right to work but because of my injured back I could not follow them to inspect their work. Two people originally showed up and within a half hour several more arrived. There ended up being 4 people working in my home for 2 hours so I was sure a good job was being done. The person cleaning the kitchen did an excellent job. That's where the good job ends unfortunately. When they left, because of their pleasant attitudes and the kindness of the supervisor who came by to inspect, I gave them a 'high five'. After they left and my family arrived home to help me get around I began to notice how VERY poorly the house was cleaned. They say they 'scrub' floors but they didn't. Instead, they used a and quot;Swifferand quot; type mop that didn't have the power to clean well. The bathroom floors were still dirty around the toilets. Nothing was dusted under but instead just dusted around and I found a lot of dirt left on every dresser and end/night table. The vacuuming was only done in the 'middle' of the floors and not along the baseboards. In the end, after giving a 'thumbs up' to the supervisor without being able to really inspect their work, I regretted telling her I was satisfied (especially at the price I paid). They are nice people so I wish I didn't feel the responsibility of being so honest about the level of their work but that is why we pay to be a part of Angie's List. If I'm not honest I can't expect others to be. Good people. Bad service.

They arrive on time which is important since I need to leave for work at the time they arrive. I am very happy with all they accomplish in a 3 hour time frame. I love coming home to a clean home!

They are always on time and they will clean whatever I want them to clean.

I've only used them once, but they were wonderful and did a really thorough job.

We've had CC clean for us 3 times. The first time they did an absolutely AWESOME job. It had been a looooong time since the house had been really cleaned, the this crew did everything we asked beautifully. The second time they came was not as good. First, they arrived 2 hours later than they had scheduled (which was due to illness of one of the cleaning personnel), and the job was pretty poor. Only about 1/2-done. I contacted CC, and the lady was extremely apologetic, very understanding, and offered us a second, deep-cleaning at our convenience and at no cost. Once again, the crew did a wonderful job. We have scheduled them to come again. We live out-of-state during the winter, but, if we were here, we would probably have them come on a regular--twice a month--basis. We will definitely hire them again when we return in the spring!

Went great -- showed up when they said. Condo looked fantastic when they were done.

They were supposed to arrive between 12-1pm but didn't show up until 2:30pm. No one called to tell me they'd rescheduled me, which is what I was told when I called them at 1pm inquiring on their location. There was a team of three women who were efficient and worked in different areas in order to get everything done in a timely manner. They were in and out within two hours and did a fantastic job. They did such a great job that I've hired the service on a regular basis.

First of all, the person who came to my house was very prompt and on time. She was also neat in appearance and friendly. As this was the first time I was using the service, I needed to be there to let her in. She was pleasant to talk to as I showed her around the place. I immediately felt comfortable with having her in my home without me present. When I did come home later that evening, my house was sparkling. I went over the checklist they had on the website as to what they do in each room and all of that was done. She also took the time to organize some small items I had on my side tables in the living room (which she had asked if she could do before I left) so things not only looked dusted and clean but more neat and organized. I will be using this service once a month to keep my house up and I feel I definitely get my money's worth.
