ABC STORAGE

We decided in August of 2008 to sell our 2-story house and move into a smaller ranch-type modular home. After living in our house for 67 years, needless to say we had a lot of stuff to go through and dispose of. However, there were many items that we decided to keep until we could see if we would need them at the new house. Since the new house did not have as much storage space as our old house, we needed temporary storage for these items. We chose ABC Storage because their facilities were fairly close to our new house, and we felt their price of $65.00 per month for a 10' x 10' storage unit was fair. They sent us a bill each month to pay from. Their storage units are fenced in with a retractable gate, and they give you the access code when you rent a unit from them. You are responsible for providing your own lock for your actual unit. Our unit was not temperature or humidity controlled, and I do not know if they have those types of units available. While we only rented a smaller unit, they seem to have units of all sizes besides a secured yard where RVs, boats, etc. can be parked. We finally disposed of all of our items in the storage unit after about 20 months of renting the unit. We made our final monthly payment and told them that we would no longer need the unit. They were very courteous, thanked us for our business, and told us to give them a call if we were ever in need of a storage unit in the future. Since we paid our bill on time each month, we only had contact with the owner when we first rented the unit and then again to pay our final bill. Otherwise, they left us alone to come and go whenever we needed to.
