MATTHEW IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PERSONABLE. HE WAS NOT THE LOW BIDDER FOR THE PROJECT. I RECEIVED BIDS RANGING FROM $3500 TO 14000. HE BID AT $4400 + MATERIALS, WITH A 10% DISCOUNT IF I ACCEPTED HIS BID BEFORE A CERTAIN DATE. I DID ACCEPT ON TIME, AND HE PROMPTLY SCHEDULED THE WORK AND HIS CREW SHOWED UP ON THE PROMISED DATE. THEY WORKED VERY QUICKLY AND THOROUGHLY. THE PROJECT COST A LITTLE MORE THAN HE ESTIMATED BECAUSE HE USED MORE PAINT THAN HE EXPECTED TO, WHICH DID NOT SURPRISE ME BECAUSE THE HOUSE WAS IN ROUGH SHAPE. HE NOTIFIED ME IMMEDIATELY WHEN HE DETERMINED THAT THE COST WOULD BE HIGHER, AND EXPLAINED WHY. HIS WORKERS DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB, AND WE ARE RECEIVING MANY COMPLIMENTS FROM OUR NEIGHBORS.
