Costco Bloomingdale

In general, I always have great service and prices at Costco. For the shower, I ordered 24 centerpieces. This option is not for the micro managing party planner, however. We had no problem reaching the florist -- she doesn't come in every day, but we were given her phone number and had no problem contacting her by phone. This Costco option does not guarantee a particular flower, but you can specify color and they will use the flowers that they have available/in season at the time. You can also request a particular color or type of container, but there are no guarantees. Each arrangement was $20. (We found this to be a real bargain when compared to independent florists -- equivalent of $45-50 arrangements.) We ordered them 2 weeks in advance, and they were delivered on time and in excellent condition as requested. The flowers were fresh, beautifully arranged, and lasted well over a week. The variety of color was perfect; the shade of pink we requested was right on; the arrangement was absolutely stunning! We even attracted a bit of attention in the store as we wheeled our pallet full of arrangements out through the registers. They were boxed in easy to carry cardboard trays. The containers were not what we requested, but they were so perfect for the occasion, we liked them better than the clear glass we requested. We had also specified 1 container type we DID NOT WANT; and, of course, they did not use those. In general, if your theme is centered around a particular flower, or if you are sensitive to the nuances of floral varieties, this may not be the option for you. You will not see the final product until you go to pick it up. However, if you're interested in a well-priced and beautiful floral arrangement, that has some lee-way, then I heartily recommend this option. Alternatively, you CAN order a specific flower or be more specific about your arrangement; however, the price may not be $20. It will be adjusted according to your choices. I'm guessing that it will still be a better price than you would pay at a florist shop.

In December, I went back and the left rear tire was losing air and my sensor light came on. My wife took the car back into today for the same issue. They said we had to bring it back Monday-Thursday after two o’clock in the afternoon which is not acceptable.

I thought the optometrist was excellent and thorough. The prescription seemed to be correct. The pricing is very good. The staff that handles glasses I thought was very customer-oriented. My wait times were fine. My understanding is that they do get busy at times, but I didn't experience that.

New tires and glasses.

I've gotten new tires at Costco twice and have been happy with both purchases. They include free tire rotation with the purchase of the tires, which is a nice benefit. It did take several hours to get the tires installed, but I was able to spend the time in the warehouse and nearby at a restaurant. One slightly annoying thing is the recommendation that you return after driving 20 miles to have the lug nuts tightened, since that is basically like driving home and back. But there's no charge for having them tightened so it wasn't a big deal. The price of the tires is competitive with other retailers. You are able to pre-shop online, although I don't think all tires listed on the website are available if you walk into the tire center.

Costco Wholesale is truly a fine company. Their customer service is great. The quality of their goods is also good. They only charge 15% more than what it costs.
