Bloomingdale La-Z-Boy Furniture

I ordered the love seat and two recliners to match a new town home we were moving into. The delivery was supposed to take 4 weeks, it arrived after 6. After 18 months there was visible wear in the fabric and parts to the recliner mechanisms began breaking. While living near the store I contacted them and they were able to put me in contact with their central supply distributor who supplied replacement parts at an incredibly high price ($30 for a spring and a pin that attached the foot rest to the handle to raise it. The same parts kept breaking and after spending $160 ($30 parts, $5 handling, $5 shipping per instance of the part breaking) on each chair breaking twice they no longer supply the part and want to replace the entire mechanism for a price I can buy a new chair for. This is a company that once was top quality and is now selling bottom of the line at high prices. Enough people report on the poor quality and they can reduce their prices to the level appropriate for such low quality or go out of business. I had to live with the broken units for 4 months while finding and purchasing new furniture.
