Vito remodeling and refinishing

It went very smoothly. It took us a while to find the right contractor. The shower pan was made of compression molded thermoset material of a blend of polymer resins, fillers, and reinforcement additives. That is basically strong plastic. Most refinishers only work on porcelain and we found those contractors won't work on plastic. Vito advertised that they do. I contacted them and got a text back the next day. We were asked to send dimensions and a photo. They quoted a price right away. We contacted several other companies, but none of them called us back. When we asked Vito to provide a sample of what the basin would look like, they came to our house and dropped it off. We were satisfied with the sample and arranged for the job to be done. They send their technician, Scott Klopek. He said he's been doing this kind of work for over 30 years. He came right on time at 8:30 a.m. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it. When he set up to spray the primer and acrylic, he tented the bathroom and ran a vent outside and a fan blew all the spray in the air out of the house. The job turned out beautifully - it looked as good as new. The finish was not slippery (one of our major concerns) and was just a good as the original finish. Scott was finished in just about 4 hours and the cost was $430.

Vito refinished the ceramic tile and bathtub in our primary bathroom. He always arrived when he said he would. He always communicated with us regarding any questions that we had. His attention to detail in preparing the job site (most important part of the job) was fantastic. He thoroughly cleaned up afterwards and we were very happy with the final results.
