Excellent service. His a master plumber . Excellent prices. i would not hire another company ,except him for plumbing.

Mr. Pekny, the owner-operator, returned my call at the end of the day and proposed coming by the following morning to perform the requested work. He arrived on time and performed the work in a neat, deliberate and careful manner.

Corrected the problem.

This is an odd entry, in that I didn't need to hire Joe Pekny because he answered my question free of charge over the phone. Briefly, we just moved into a rehabbed house and had heard what sounded like water dripping from the bathroom on the top floor onto the ceiling of the bathroom on the bottom floor. Made us very uncomfortable.
At the recommendation of a friend, we called Joe Pekny. He returned our call promptly, listened carefully to my description of the issue, and then said something like, "I don't think it's water. I think your hot water pipe is expanding when you shower upstairs and when it expands it's rubbing against some ceiling materials. I've had several clients who have said it sounds just like drops of water."
He then gave us a test we could perform to make sure. He was right.
So this tells me that Joe is both smart and honest and not out to make a quick buck. Believe me, he's our plumber from now on.

We had a water heater go out late on a Friday and Joe was able to get a replacement for us that same day.   Joe does great work.  We've hired Pekney plumbing for a number of projects and we've always been happy with the results.  On a few occasions the issue ended up being significantly less than what we originally anticipated.  Rather than take advantage of the situation like some people might Joe explained everything and saved us time and money.

The job was urgent but not an emergency, they were able to accommodate the time we needed, were prompt, courteous, and professional.  I would highly recommend them.

He is very nice and does a very thorough job.  He thinks about the job that needs to be done before jumping into it to make sure everything is done correctly.  His rates are also very reasonable.

A month after the installation my neighborhood had torrential rains and flooded basements. The pilot on the water heater went out. I called Pekny to relight the water heater. He came out, pushed a button and charged me $50 dollars. This after charging me an exhoritant amt for the heater. I am an elderly person living alone and I feel taken advantage of. I will never use him again.

It was a bit expensive, but they arrived within 1 hour, and when you need a plumber, you need a plumber.

Joe is a professional. He did not cut any corner to save time. His all attitude was get the job done right. Very pleasant experience.

THE COST SEEMED A LITTLE HIGH, PRICE WISE, BUT HE DID VERY GOOD WORK AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE ALSO CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THE SON SEEMED TO BE HAVING A BAD DAY. HE WAS NOT AS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL AS HIS DAD WAS. THEY WERE BOTH VERY PROMPT AND ON TIME. I APPRECIATED THIS VERY MUCH AS THE WATER WAS BACKED UP.

THEY WERE ABLE TO FIX BOTH PROBLEMS WITHIN AN HOUR. HE CAME PREPARED AND WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. GREAT EXPERIENCE!
