Great results. Very quick call back after leaving a voicemail. Crew came out and spent 3 hours unclogging both my incoming/outgoing lines in catch basin, then vacuuming up all the grease in the trap. Job well done. Thanks guys.

Mark was awesome. He was super responsive and showed up with all the right tools to rod my catch basin. Him and his team worked fast and thoroughly. He explained what he's doing every step of the way as well as how to maintain steps moving forward. Hire him for all your plumbing jobs!! Their dog is super cute too!

I called and spoke to Mark about cleaning my catch basin. He and his crew arrived on time and completed the work quickly - and effectively. I asked if they could also rod the line, which they were able to do right then. They did an excellent job, and the charge for the catch basin was exactly what Mark quoted me on the phone. The charge for rodding was right in line with what other plumbers charge.

Mark, the owner and his crew were excellent. They were very professional and knowledgeable about their service. Mark returned my call promptly and I was scheduled quickly. This company actually removes the debris in your catch basis by a vacuum system. This is better than the flush method that most other companies use. I would highly recommend their service.

They showed up, promptly identified the problem (tree roots in the pipe), rodded out the pipe then drained the sewage in the pipe. The work took less than an hour and the basement drains are flowing again. Ray was the crew leader, who followed in his dad's footsteps with this biz. They know their stuff. I'll heed their advice and get the pipe rodded out every year or so.

In 2012, we had Neptune Sewer Service out to clean our sewer and catch basin. We had never had this service done in the 20+ years I have been on our Condo Assn's Board. They charged us $450.00 w/ a $50.00 discount.
In 2014, we were again in a situation where the catch basin was backed up and again called Neptune. This time they charged us $560.00??? I specifically asked them why the cost was significantly higher than 2012 when we had NEVER had the catch basins cleaned. He asked if I had the receipts and of course I didn't have them at the time but I told him I could definitely get them and I would like to discuss the increase in the bill.

I located the receipts and called and left a message requesting an email address to forward the receipts. Three days later, I forwarded a copy of the 2012 receipts along with a photo with a request for a fuller explanation of the charges in light of the receipts I forwarded.
Approx. a week later I got a call back indicating it had been more than 30 days, that they never got an email from me and that they wanted to be paid and did not want to do business with me anymore. I called him back and told him I would write a check out for the full amount.
That said, I would caution people to exercise care with this vendor as it appears that his pricing is **very arbitrary.** Furthermore he is apparently under the belief that people should not make inquiries into his charges or billing practices. He certainly has the right to charge whatever he wants however, when his charges increase significantly from one year to the next; I would like to think he would expect inquiries....unless; of course there isn't a strong rationale for how he arrived at the charge to begin with.
The lesson learned is never assume that because someone did a good job for you one year that they will do right by you in subsequent years. We had a favorable experience in 2012 and while we got other quotes in 2014 (for virtually the same 2012 price), we called this vendor out again thinking we would get the same favorable service. That did not happen.

Mark and Ray came out to assess our sewer pipe maintenance - we're an 8 unit residential building with 1 storefront. They were very responsive with scheduling and followup, considering we had to reschedule due to the weather. Cost to rod our regular sewer pipes to the main line was $400 (assessed without digging in at all), and the grease trap/catch basin (3 ft deep) $450. The whole thing took about 2 hours, but that includes having to dig up the steel plate cover to our catch basin which took a good amount of time.
Cleanup was probably standard level, we mopped up a bit after they left and are eagerly awaiting our cleaning service.
Overall good honest work - glad we took care of it before any backup.
Recommendations for future work didn't seem ingenuine either - they told us annual for the sewer pipe rodding and maybe a little longer for the catch basin.

We used them every year to clean out our catch basin and rod our sewar lines between the catch basin and the house. They always do a good job - just be aware that they are always pushing to do more ... hire them for the job and be clear with them that's all you want/need.

Neptune was well equipped for both jobs. On the first call they used several cutting tools to clear the blockage. On the second call, they quickly found the broken tile. The calls cost $220 each. I thought their $2200 estimate to fix the tile was high, and I found another plumber who fixed it for $950 and caused no damage to my or my neighbors property -- they sent a man with a shovel instead of mechanical earth moving equipment.

I found Neptune after looking on Angie's List for a company to clean out our catch basin. Ray came out this morning and got a good look at what our problem was. Our catch basin has not been cleaned since 1968 and there appeared to be a blockage from the catch basin to the street which was why we were getting water in our basement. Ray told us there are no guarantees but he will try to clear the tree roots that were in the line, we are on a hill and there is a 12-foot drop from our house to the street, we told him we understood and he got started. He was able to break through to the street and clear the sewer line. He also rodded the rest of the lines that run from the house to the catch basin for no extra charge. After all the lines were cleared they cleaned our catch basin which was probably in worse shape than the tree roots that were in the line going to the street. We were very happy with the service that was provided by Neptune and would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a truly honest company that will give the straight truth.

Got other, higher quotes, but went with these guys due to good words from plumbers I normally use for my buildings. At first they didn't want to do the job due to the concrete-like hardness of the waste in the catch basin. Told them I was in a pickle and they agreed to do it the next day. They worked hard to break up the stuff in there, having to unjam their hose more than a few times. Would definitely give them repeat business.

I called about cleaning out my catch basin. The people at Neptune came out that morning (quick response). They informed me that not only did the catch basin need to be cleaned, but that the sewer needed to be rodded out to the street. This was much more expensive than they originally told me over the phone. The final price was $385. About a two months later with heavy rains, I took water in the basement. At the time I thought it was due to a problem with drainage from my gutters, so I repaired that problem. One month later (Aug. 23) we took heavy rains again and my basement was flooded. The water did not drain out from the basement drain or catch basin. I had to buy a pump from Menard's to pump out the basement. The catch basin still had standing water the next day. I called Neptune to see if they would come back out to check the rodding job that they did. They informed me that the job was only good for 60 days and that it would be $225 to come out again.

Mark and his crew were great to deal with. They came out the same day I called them. He was very honest and told me I probably didn't need and work done but I asked him to do it it anyway. He did find some blocked parts of the line so I'm glad I got it done. I would definitely use them again.
