We are extremely dissatisfied with the work. At the time it was done, the porch looked patchy and unattractive as Jimmy did not apply the non-slip additive correctly. Insisting it is supposed to look blotchy and streaky does not make it so. About a year later, the porch looks like a disaster and clearly needs to be totally redone. It is peeling, there are rust spots where he obviously did not prime properly over nails, and paint is flaking off pretty much all of the edges as well as random areas on the surface of the porch and stairs. Our iron fence is also peeling and there are rusty areas already. Inside, we had to redo the drywall patching as he did not leave it in a state where we could paint over it without lines and bumps. Jimmmy also "accidentially" took extra materials that we had purchased and never returned them. Jimmy was recommended by our former designer, Georgia Loukas, of Impact Design. We should never, ever have selected Jimmy/Michelangelo Painting or allowed Georgia to supervise his work (our experience with her was also very negative, and they are cousins... in hindsight, this all should have been a huge red flag, but at the time, we thought the relationship meant he'd do a good job). He cannot have prepared any surfaces correctly based on how it's holding up. On a postiive note, he is cheerful and showed up when he said he would. However, the quality of his work means that anyone thinking of hiring should, based on our experience, think twice.
