The owner Branislav came out next day for a quote that was very reasonable. His crew did a great job removing a huge tree stump from our house in Chicago on a standard lot with small gangway. They completed the work very quickly (around 90 minutes) and hauled everything away and left some mulch to use for other projects. We are very pleased with the amount we paid for the service we received.

They did a great job. I had a large tree between my house and garage. Also, some of the tree limbs had grown over power lines. They were able to remove the tree without causing any damage to the house or garage. They removed all of the branches and trunk of the tree. Then, they ground out the stump. Finally, they cleaned up the yard. They were professional and polite. Also, the price was very fair.

A tree limb was resting on my telephone wires. I called and spoke with Brian and he said he would be out in one hour to take a look at it. I was both surprised and delighted that he arrived so quickly. He gave me an estimate to remove the limb and trim any limbs that were near my garage and house. His men arrived the next day; 8 a.m. on the dot. They trimmed the tree, raked up and removed ALL limbs that fell to the ground. I paid the foreman and the men were off for their next job. I am extremely happy with the work they did, would highly recommend this company if asked and will definitely call them the next time my tree needs trimming.

I hired this company because of all the good reviews. However what ended up happening was a disaster. I feel like there was a bait and switch. The foreman who was out, gave our estimate, and we discussed our job with was not present on the job site. The crew had trucks branded with a completely different company name so clearly they outsource their jobs. Our scope was to trim branches away from our house (so we would not have trim for another couple years) and trimming up but leaving the bottom canopy. The trees were growing from our neighbors property, which we don't mind, and were trimming just so branches were not rubbing against our house and roof. The other part was in the back of our yard which we had a huge tree providing coverage and blocking from our neighbors behind. The same applied - trim away from garage and front but leave canopy for privacy. The crew lead said they would know on my door before cutting to be sure. I then went inside, took a call and then looked out the window. Most of the back tree was completely gone - nothing left between our yard and neighbor's. And no knock. What else ensued was them trimming straight up along our fence just hacking huge limbs. This was completely different from what I discussed and what was documented on the written estimate. I told them to leave as they had destroyed my yard enough. The foreman's response was sorry but trees grow back. When you cut them the way they did - they do not grow back the same way. It will take years, if ever, to get our backyard privacy back - likely the need to plan more trees on our own. I am not sure if the reviews are real on here but I would stay away.

Full crew of appx. 8 employees arrived at sunrise and worked until the job was done. They were extremely professional and cleaned up after themselves. Management team worked out a payment plan for the services provided. Follow-up procedure in July 2017 was required to address some feeder roots to my backyard tree. County Tree Services came back and did the work without hassle. I highly recommend this company and would definitely hire again.

The elm was in a difficult placement between two buildings. They did great work. The price was competitive. They came out on a Saturday to do the job. They showed up early so they were quite punctual.

These guys were great. Bryan showed up the very same day I called to provide me with an estimate. They showed up on time to start the job. Even went the extra mile and trimmed branches that were dangerously close to power lines that were not part of the job. I had called other companies. Some refused because of accessibility issues, some never showed and some were ridiculously more expensive. I highly recommend County Tree Service

Quick and Professional. With-in 2 minutes of emailing for a quote, Brian called me and in less than an hour he was to my home and gave me a fair quote. I hired him and less than 3 hours later the job was complete to my satisfaction. I added additional work at that time and Brian's price was acceptable to me. The crew was courteous and QUICK. Brian was there supervising. They cleaned up after they were done. I would recommend you use this company's services in a heartbeat.

Great.  They had the proper equipment and were able to take down the tree in the alley, no problem.  They also cleaned up afterward better than I probably would have cleaned up myself.  The other tree service companies I called didn't have the right equipment and wanted to drop the tree in my neighbor's yard.  I would not hesitate to recommend County Tree Service to others.

The team did a fantastic job. They were kind and courteous, and when they left there was no trace of debris or even that a huge crane was in our front yard. Brian was quick to respond the night it happened, and put our whole family at ease with how confident and knowledgeable he was. The crew worked all day in the heat, and when it was done there was no trace of the debris , or even tracks from the crane. Great group of guys!

I called County Tree at 8 pm one evening and Brian returned my call within a 1/2 hour even though it was a Saturday night. He came out at 9:30am on Sunday just as promised and gave me an estimate. We settled on a very reasonable price and his crew of six were out at 8am on Monday morning just as  scheduled!!!! It is not everyday that businesses return phone calls or appear on time; they get an "A" just for that. The crew had both trees down in 20 minutes, ground the stumps and removed 2 bushes that were dead behind the trees. They then trimmed a  locust with rather low hanging branches so neatly and correctly it looks like I have a new tree! The best part of this whole deal was that the men swept, picked up every leaf and power-blew the walkways. It looks like nothing was ever there. They even raked the stones in my foundation plantings smooth! All branches and debris went into their trucks and was hauled away. At 9 am my job was done and I sat down to coffee-happy as a clam!

County Tree Service is the best tree service in Northern Illinois, period! My wife and I have used them for tree removal and it was probably one of the best home contracting services that we have ever experienced.
They are honest, their prices are fair, they provide excellent service and cleanup all debris, plus they are very friendly and nice people.
If you are looking for tree service, look no further, there really is no better choice than County Tree Service. When you have struck oil, quit drilling!

I contacted one service provider recommended by a local nursery.  The provider, one of the Davey group of companies had not responded in a week's time so I contacted five other providers and Brian of County Tree Service was the first to respond to my voicemail message.  Between my call and his call back, less than one half hour elapsed.  He promised to stop by in an hour and did so in forty minutes.  I explained the work and he gave me an on-the-spot estimate.  He asked when I would like the work to be done and I said "Today."  He called a crew operating two miles away, ascertained that it would be done by about noon time and told me to show my job to the foreman when the crew arrived.  The crew arrived punctually and did the work.  They were very efficient and professional.  Not a bit of debris was left behind.  I would estimate that they removed somewhere between twenty-five and forty small trees ranging in diameter from 2" to 9".  All stumps were removed.  They completed the work by the end of the afternoon.  It was a marvel to see them move across the work area in an organized and coordinated manner.  It was a first class experience for me and Country Tree Service bent over backward to win my business and satisfy my needs!  Top notch in every aspect!

Called Brian on Friday. He came out and I showed him what needed to be done. He gave me a quote within 30 minutes and asked me how soon I needed them out. I told him the sooner the better and he mentioned that he will be out tomorrow. He came out on Saturday and took care of the tress and the removal of them. Everything went like a charm. I highly recommend County Tree Service.

They arrived on time and were very professional.  We had 3 cars that couldn't be moved and they were able to safely and quickly remove a large tree.  We would use them again and recommend them to others.

Brian had done work for me before and I was happy with the job but I wanted a good price so I got bids from 5 tree services.  Once again, County Tree Service had the lowest bid.  Because of all the rain we've been having Brian gave me an approximate date 2 weeks away.  That was certainly understandable but almost one week before that date, I received a call from Brian.  They had a truck and crew in the area and even though it was already 6:00 p.m., they began to unpack their trucks and got to work.  In two hours (and through a steady mist of rain) they were finished.  They meticulously cleaned and re-cleaned the area around the stumps.  They took special care with 4 x 8 plywood sheets to make sure that their equipment did not damage my lawn which I really appreciated.  I would recommend County Tree Service to anyone who wants competitively priced work and service pleasing to any homeowner.

Brian returned my call quickly and came to my home and gave an estimate within two days.  His initial estimate was too high.  I had received other quotes that were significantly cheaper.  I told him this and that I wasn't interested.  He immediately beat his competitors price.  Additionally, he agree to clean up all the debris which the other company said they wouldn't do.
 Brian measured the gate to our fence to make sure it would clear 36 inches.  He was careful to make sure the door would open all the way so the equipment would fit through the door.  It turned out the door didn't open all the way, so Brian agreed to shovel away some extra dirt so the equipment would fit.
Brian's crew came on time and did an excellent job.  The stump was completely gone, and all wood chips and other remains were removed.
I would definitely use him again.
