I hired Tony for electric upgrade work for city compliance. The whole work was not up to code even he knows all the violations. Worst thing is, after all the payment being done he will not answer the call or texts at all. The outside service pipes used were not rigid which becomes a big issue now because it is against the code. Breaker boxes were left with big holes without filler, not covered. Outdoor light fixtures were left without the switch connected. The emergency lights were never installed, as promised. Somehow, he is good with the inspector and passed the city inspection, magically. But when the new inspection came out all these problems arise again. We are trying to bring this to the court and we will testify all.

The 'big guy' Tony P was friendly, matter of fact, and had a more than capable assistant....who did much of the work independently and beautifully (Tony ran to get some additional supplies for the project while the assistant worked....and who also was friendly and answered whatever question I had). This was a first time experience with T. Petrauskas's services. I will be very glad to hire him again when the need arises.

Everytime we spoke he was confused on which project I was. He didn't show up the first time, then showed up late, and took way longer than he said it would. Made a mess and did little cleaning. Had to bring in another electrician to see why my lights kept flickering. Turns out somehow they broke the circuit breaker that was in there since I found it on the ground and whatever they did broke that slot. Opened up the box to find the thing sparking! When I tried to call Tony and leave him texts he ignored me. Doesn't care about making sure his customers are safe. New electrician installed a new circuit breaker in a new slot and everything worked better. Also checked the electrical work for me and taped up a few things he said weren't to code.

Tony performed all of the work we had specified. Cleanup was minimal at best (from holes that were drilled for light fixtures). The work was done with no problems, but one of the fixtures was wired incorrectly. Therein lies the only factor that explains my review being less than a 5--it took Tony a little less than 2 months to return to fix the problem, with me reaching out to him via text, email, and phone to no avail. The work was eventually done, but not the type of customer service one should deal with.

Had to do a panel upgrade and install a dedicated line for central air going in to be fed under the deck in back of the house. Tony did a great job. Some extra supplies were left behind and the conduit under the deck could use an extra hanger, but this is insignificant. He did a great job for a terrific price. I have another couple of projects for him to do in the very near future. He is definitely my electrician.

Tony phoned right away, but then after we set a time and I phoned to give him my address he didn't call back. I wrote it off, but he did come though on the morning we originally talked about. He gets like a million calls per hour, so now I see why he did not phone back.
