gret itI finally got a hold of the customer service department after three days of trying. I was able to get the charges of $3400.00 reversed and cancelled. Guess what? A day later, the charges reappeared. Now they are sending threatening emails for payment for services that were not accepted, used, or agreed to.
I cannot stress enough that this service should not be used. You will regret it if you do! If They do not fix this problem soon I will be reporting them to the Justice Department for Fraud.

It was excellent. They deliver the pod, you load it, and then they pick it up and deliver where you want it to. I made some changes. I kept the pod for a day longer. I needed the location moved and there was no problem. They give a 3 hour window and call 15 minutes before. They really stay on top of it. They guys were very polite.

I wanted to talk to someone at PODS to get pricing, etc. I called the 800 number and spoke to a woman on the phone who explained everything to me. I decided to go ahead and get it delivered to my house and then use their storage facilities. I was able to schedule the initial delivery for the weekend I wanted (5-25-13). The very next day I called to schedule the pickup, thinking that they might be busy. The earliest pick up date was June 4th. That was concerning to me because in my town you can only have a POD on your property for ten days, total. I scheduled it anyway and the pick up went smoothly. Further on in my construction project I thought we should be close to done by mid-September so I called and set up the redelivery for 9-19-13. I called pretty far in advance to make sure I would get the date I wanted. At the same time that I made the redelivery appointment I also make the final pick up appointment because I knew from my prior experience they get busy. Final pick up went fine, too. I was pretty happy with the company. It was very easy to deal with them and they were very efficient with their phone calls and they were here when they said they'd be. I would use them again.

When my son called 5 days in advance to have it delivered, they were not able to do so. Too busy with other deliveries. Because of parking restrictions and availability of someone at the new apartment, my son was forced to schedule the delivery for 7 days after he really wanted it. Ok, delivery rescheduled, verifying the address and correct zip code. He and his roommates would just have to spend a week with nothing in the apartment.
The day before the scheduled delivery date, my son calls to check to check on approximately what time the delivery will be made. He is told at that point for the first time during the entire month long transaction period, that PODS does not deliver to that area of the city. If my son wanted his stuff, he would have to arrange for a truck to come and pick it up at the storage facility, 30 miles away from his new apartment. Try and contacting a delivery service and getting someone reasonable for the next day. Possible, but outrageously expensive. When he got to the PODS storage facility on the day of the scheduled delivery-turned pick up, he was told by the warehouse people that he could not get his things that day because the POD had not been and quot;pulled.and quot; He was crushed and so frustrated he could not speak. A short while later, while he was still at the PODS warehouse cancelling the delivery truck for that day trying to figure out where to proceed from there, a warehouse person came out and told him that oh - he could get his stuff because lo and behold the pod had been pulled in anticipation of a delivery that would never be made by PODS. He ended up having his dad rent a truck and move his belongings from the pod into the truck, and from the truck into the apartment within a 5 hour period. It took everyone days to recover.
I cannot believe NO ONE from PODS could have told us at any time during the entire experience that PODS did not deliver to his area of the city of Chicago. Had we known ahead of time, we could have and would have proceeded in a completely different manner. I am not saying using PODS is not a good thing for some circumstances, but they really dropped the ball in our case.
