Service master cleaned my furniture and when doing so applied the wrong finish to my furniture and ruined it. They took my furniture to Furniture medic to correct the problem. They never once called me to see what finish was on my furniture. Now all of my furniture doesn't even match and they are three different colors. My furniture looks disgusting. I told them I wouldn't accept my furniture the way it was. So they took it back to fix but my furniture is still ruined. They even told me that the furniture was like that when they worked on it. I would not recommend them to anyone. I feel like they took on a project that they were not equipped to handle.

"We strive to please our customers and are very proud of the fact that we have one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings for all furniture medics nationwide. As noted by the members we were requested by a restoration company, Service Master to repair their furniture set. The original request was to remove scratches that were in the finish on the base of the furniture (three pieces). Prior to any refinishing we always test the type of finish that is on the piece. The original finish was nitro cellulose lacquer, which overtime yellows. To correct the scratches we over coated all three pieces with a non-yellowing water based urethane. The water based finishes we use are crystal clear they do not add any shading to the finish. We have used this product for hundreds of over coating application and have never had a customer complain about the color. In addition we provided the technical data on our finish to the customer. We are disappointed that members are not happy with our services but we do not believe the finish we applied caused any additional discoloration or changed the color of the original finish."

They were able to repair the china cabinet right here in my house, which was just amazing. They first gave us an estimate and upon approval, fixed it. They took such good care in repairing the cabinet. The coffee table on the other hand, needed much more tlc and they took it back to their offices for repair. They had to keep it for about two weeks to get it completed. They made sure to keep us informed and also called in advance to schedule the return of the coffee table. About a week after delivery, we rec'd a call from them asking if we liked the finish on the coffee table, saying that after some time, people may not have liked the finish and they would be willing to adjust the stain color if we didn't like it, but we were really happy with the results. It was just so nice that they called us to see how we liked the table. I would recommend them to everyone and will use them in the future!!! Such a delight to work with!!

The experience was great. Lynette came to the house checked out the table gave us the cost and took it the same day. She said it would take 4-6 weeks and we got the table back in 3 weeks.

Dieter did a great job filling the dent and scratches created when the glass top fell through to the bottom of the table. It took a few weeks, but it really looked darn good when I got it back.
