They successfully moved multiple heavy, solid wood pieces of furniture into a house with narrow doors and hallways. No scratches or damage! They are easy to work with, and their rates are reasonable. Price is always an issue you hire these moving companies. They usually ask you for such high numbers that seems ridiculous. I went Advanced Moving and Storage because I could hire them. They even did a really good job. They were transporting my belongings out of state but there was no damage. I am quite happy with their service. I just don’t know how they can provide that level of service and charge so low.

These guys are thieves! STOLE OUR HANDGUN AND AMMO that was left on nightstand. Broke numerous Items! Couldn't deliver our things across State lines for over a week, and didn't let us know until the day we THOUGHT they were coming. And.....there is curiously a big gap In reviews on here (Angi) in between the same time as we used this company. We moved from Addison Illinois in April, 2021. So they must have had a lot of bad reviews in that timeframe with their employees!

I think the movers from Advanced Moving and Storage could literally move a mountain if that was the task. They showed up on time. The movers were well prepared and charged up for the job. I was so surprised when they declared all my things were loaded in their truck within hours. I was even more surprised when they delivered all my belongings at my new house right on the scheduled date without a single scratch on any of the pieces.

If you're looking for a mover you can't go wrong with these guys. Every part of the process was easy, from scheduling through an estimate that was spot of course they come to your house, don't use anyone that does over the phone estimates, through the move. The workers were all well mannered, showed up on time, and treated our things like they were their own.

I've done a lot of moves because of work relocation and a couple local moves. This was the worst one of all of them by any measure. The more people I talk to about my move, the more I learn about this company's terrible reputation, including comments made by current and former employees and customers. If they were given an accurate name, it would be Advanced Damage and Indifference. The estimate for my move was $3,500 but the estimator said it would be lower if I moved a lot of items out of the house in advance myself. The estimate was provided following a lengthy, in-person visit, where they saw everything I have. I moved about 35% of the contents of the house out myself, in advance, during the course of four busy weekends. Despite that, first I was told the move would be $1,100 more than estimated, then I was told it would be an additional $800. When I asked to speak with someone in management, no one was ever available. My choices were to pay the higher price or they would lock up my property in their trucks and take it to their warehouse, which would have left my son and I sleeping on the floor. Their crew didn't follow moving 101 practices, like labeling boxes, or keeping furniture wrapped in blankets when carrying it into the house, or putting the larger items in the house first. Instead they did the opposite, which caused many problems, damage and crew time which I'm expected to pay for. The crew ripped legs off 3 items: a home theater cabinet, with damage so severe the damage affects the lower shelf the leg is attached to, a night stand and an expensive wine refridgerator, with damage so bad that the steel on the bottom of the fridge is bent like a piece of paper. Several other pieces of furniture have major scratches. Walls throughout the house of scratches, dents and marks. Beer bottles were found in what was a perfectly clean recycling bin, and the crew dispatched my son to McDonald's to buy them lunch with half the money their order cost. Now the company will not help with any of the many damages they caused unless I pay them $5,400, which would be 54% more than estimated for a move 35% smaller than estimated. I don't want anyone to experience what I did with this company.

Moving sucks and is crazy stressful, but the team at Advanced Moving and Storage make it seem like a easy. Honestly, from the moment I called asking for a quote, they were exemplary. They moved us quite a long distance and it was an amazing experience. Everything was in tip-top shape. But the friendliness of the movers was outstanding. This should be the standard on how companies should be, from customer service to delivery- consistent all the way through. I’m so happy to have used this company and gave my belongings a safe, comfortable ride in their hands. Now I need to move again soon so I can call them back.

They came on time and wrapped everything very quickly, though I did not had too many things to move. I cannot describe how careful and cautious they were with my things.
