Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
Signed contract with Galaxie in May 2018. Gave them substantial deposit to order materials and begin work. After numerous communications they delivered some materials to my house, substantially less in value that what I gave them for deposit. Over a year has now passed, they have tried to assign contract to another company which asked for more money. Galaxie and DeZara will not communicate with us, are in contract breech and owe us over $5000. DeZara and Galaxie are apparently crooks disguised as a contractor. Stay away from them.

What ever u do do not hire Galaxie Exteriors kitchens & bath. Worst company ever. Full of lies. 1st they lied about permit not being ready. So when I called the building department they told me they where waiting on Galaxie. Lie #1. Lie #2 the job is suppose to take 2 weeks. We r going on 4. They will send crew on another job if the money is better and use every excuse in book. The whole crew got sick or waiting on material. when I called on material all was in stock and in warehouse, lie #3 & 4. They also took advantage of all the rain. There street flooded not once but 2x. Lie #5. I know it wasn't cause the guy who they contracted out said he had no problem getting in and out and he drove a Corolla. Lie #6. It's like they think all there customers r stupid. I have called them out several times for them to just keep lieing. Even the contractors r fed up. They have the nerve to send crew on another job while they charge the contractor $200 for not showing up here. Just ridiculous! Not to mention they r totally over priced. Worse company ever. It's run by the devil!

HORRIBLE -- NEVER AGAIN! We contracted Galaxie to redo our guest bathroom (very small space). It was supposed to take 7-10 days...it took 6 weeks and we ended up doing part ourselves because we were so unhappy. Crooked tile, holes in the wall, a leaking sink, and screwed up electricity...this is what we what we were left with to fix on our own. I provided a list of all of the issues that we encountered and was told we would be contacted by a vice president....guess what never happened. On top of that, we weren't supposed to pay the final amount until we were happy -- my last discussion with the project manager was that our sink was still leaking (which I ended up fixing on my own). Still they took the final payment minus $200. I guess that is what they figured would cover all of the issues we had -- they were wrong. We will never use Galaxie again and we've told all of our friends and family the same. We've also told our realtor friends so that they can warn their clients. We don't want anyone to go through what we went through.

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
With our bathroom we were told it would be finished in a week, signed a contract in February 2017, they started in April 2017 and it's now July and we are still having issues with the new faucet in the tub. The only thing done to my kitchen is a hole in a wall. This company is the worst at communicating. They do not answer emails, texts nor phone calls and when they do they always have an excuse for everything. They have no respect for people's time

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel
A salesman (btw, he ended up resigning shortly after, we were never notified of any of it) came in early April, signed a contract and they received an initial payment, they didn't start the actual work 'til early June, only after we called them to inquire about the status of our project. 2 days into the demolition of our kitchen, they attempted to squeeze an additional 5k from us; for items that were discussed with the original salesman, items like moving of electrical lines 2 of which were visible in the soffit on initial visit, removal and replacing of moulding of literally 14ft of trim $400, and removing of wall paper on a wall above the now exposed staircase for a grand total of $5030. So, since we wouldn't allow them to rake us over the coals, they told the subcontractor to stop working (there had only been 1 person there working for the initial 2 days). They stopped work: we have no kitchen, a huge pile of garbage and construction debris in our backyard, exposed electrical wiring hanging from the conduit near my 2nd grade sons' bedroom, they sent the paperwork for the remainder of the financing in April not when they actually started the work. The company also changed the work scope without our approval or authorization (even after initial visit from salesman, they sent another individual, week and a half later, to remeasure and confirm the work scope), they repeatedly stated we were under contract and that we had an obligation to continue with them. We were able to get out of contract and now were now left scrambling looking for another contractor. After more research on our parts we have learned that this company is always involved in shady dealings and has a bad reputation with customer satisfaction/service. They also are almost never recommended nor do they have repeat customers.

First, the company sent out unlicenced contractors to begin work on my bathroom and up grade my plumming, which was measured and installed incorrectly, thus failing multiple village inspections. Galaxie was then forced to hire licence sub-contractors to take over the plumming, electrical, dry-walling, and cabinetry work, that took nearly 4 months to complete as a result of continued multiple mistakes that needed correcting. In detail, the vessel sinks were not centered; a very sloppy job with grouting on both floors and walls; parts of the ceiling had to be re-opened because the ceiling fan was badly off centered; contractors had to be recalled back to the home to repair my closet ceiling that they damaged; they charged me an additional $300 dollars late in the contract to complete eletrical work that should have been taken care of when the bathroom was first gutted; as of June I'm still waiting for repairs on the shower glass door that was installed incorrectly. As a result, I still don't have access to my shower. Galaxie never returned my phone calls when I made repeated attempts to follow up on appointments that were made in order for them to correct mistakes. I feel as though after they recieved my money from the bank, they wanted nothing else to do with me. Unfortunately, it was already too late to stop payment and hire another contractor, so I stuck with what I got. This (is) the upmost worst service I have ever experienced, and would not recommend them to anyone looking to remodeling their kitchen or bath. It is outragous that a project that started in March is still not complete....It June for god sake! We have reported Galaxie to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) for their lack of professionalism, integrity, and follow through. I'm warning anyone to stay away from this company....if your sanity means anything to you.

Roofing
Everything went pretty good, they were able to do everything, but the gutters in one day(small house), everything seem to be in great working order it was done almost two years ago and we haven't had any issues. The gutters were a different story, weren't done that well and since it was in a time were we didn't have any rain for awhile, didn't notice the gaps and poor workmanship until it was too late. It was too late because the company went out of business. Overall everything is fine, but when it rains heavily the gutters near or kitchen window doesn't catch the water and it just pours down near the window and makes a lot of noise.

They are very professional. They came and did the work when they said they were going to do it. If we had questions we needed answered we would call the project manager, Jennifer and she was a lot of help.
