While Russ was a nice enough person to work with, the customer service and follow through were the worst I have experienced. I requested an estimate on how much it would cost to replace the drive and what it would cost to upgrade to a DVD-RW. He was very unclear about his estimate (originally $300 deposit, then added $365 for the drive), and only after much discussion did he agree to do it for $500 total (Toshiba would have replaced the original drive for $300 inc labor). It was difficult to make contact with him because he seldom answers the phone or kept the hours stated on his website or door (8-5). Then, once contacted, he would not return phone calls. Finally, after a period of over two weeks of not being able to contact him, we finally had to send an email that we would report the computer stolen if he did not contact us within the next couple of days. He finally did, and we were able to retrieve the computer, but still robbed $200 for his 'labor' to remove old drive.
Description of Work: Attempted to have DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive replaced in laptop.
