Our primary focus in the contracting business has been the home repair and remodeling of pre-existing residential dwellings. This "Home Improvement" division concentrates on bathroom, kitchens, exterior Decks, Siding, windows, roofing, Room additions & remodeling. We are very pleased with our new garage! John did a wonderful job of explaining the various phases of this project, kept us informed along the way and handled things very professionally and with our best interests in mind. John contacted me promptly, was honest about what to expect and any road bumps we may encounter. He had the sump pump done within a week of meeting with him and put me in touch with his subcontractors to help with other portions of our project. Could not recommend them enough.

"We replaced a couple of skylights on the customer's roof that had to be custom ordered to fit the existing roof measurements. John was quick to response to my call, and after checking out my problem was ready for a solution. Got right on it and within a few days everything looked great. I was in need of a painter and he came up with a name and number. In the future if a project comes up will be sure to call John Loughman.

They were very helpful finding and correcting the problem of rainwater getting under the siding. The replacement of the structural pieces went smoothly and the temporary covering was excellent. They left no mess and were very courteous. I will use them again and recommend John and his carpenters in a heartbeat.

Excellent work. Highly professional. Attention to detail was second to none. Cleaned up daily before leaving. Turned a ninety year old bathroom into a masterpiece. Removed and replaced tile, toilet, medicine cabinet, sink and cabinet, installed safety bar in shower, shower rod and curtains and painted walls and ceiling in bathroom and closet. I intend on having Loughman quote other work and would highly recommend him to anyone.

The most professional, dependable contractor! He came in on budget and was very timely. Once he started the project he showed up every day until it was complete. John happily made customized the deck to what I wanted. I would hire John again and highly recommend him. I am the envy of the neighborhood!

I highly recommend Loughman Builders/Remodelers based on my experience with them. I hired them to install a wheelchair access ramp into the back of my home. The kicker is that my wife was in a nursing home and couldn't be discharged home until the ramp was finished. I explained my situation and Mr. Loughman committed on the spot to begin the work immediately and even worked a Saturday at no additional charge to complete the work on budget and one day sooner than promised. The build quality is superb, and the job came in spot on the estimate. This could not have been any better!

I highly recommend Loughman Builders. John was friendly and reliable and went out of his way to find a solution for our project which suited our schedule and budget. His workers were prompt, polite and did quality work. We have hired him several times and he has always been just as helpful with the smaller projects as with the larger one. I hired John to fix the rotting wood around our toilet , fix our dripping tub faucet, and caulk the tub. I was impressed with the way he showed me each step of the project so I knew what was happening. The job he did was excellent. Another thing that I was impressed with is the way he cleaned up after the job was finished. I highly recommend John.
