Amazing, amazing, amazing!! We are ecstatic about our floors. Doug helped us find the perfect flooring for our new home, even doing a virtual consultation with us since we were not in the local area yet. We had a relatively short timeline but his team bent over backwards to get the job done prior to our move-in date despite unexpected demolition problems. Fair price, amazing service and professional work! I will use them again and I highly recommend you do too!!

They were great!  He came out quickly to give an estimate.  The installers were excellent.  We are very pleased with the choice of carpet and the installation.  The installers worked quickly, and were polite and professional.  Custom Floors came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint!

I can't say enough great things about how pleased we were with our Custom Floors & More experience. Our home was in desperate need of new flooring due to years of wear and tear by our three small children. From the initial consultation with Doug, through the final courtesy project completion follow-up call by Julie, the service and attention we received was phenomenal.
Doug came to our home for our initial consultation, agreeing to meet with us in the evening to accommodate my schedule. Doug assessed our needs and provided a written quote in a timely manner.
Julie met with me initially and then me and my wife to discuss our flooring options and took great pride and personal attention in ensuring that we were comfortable with our final choices. When it came to scheduling the work, we advised Julie that the flooring job was part of an overhaul of our lower level, and that we needed to ensure the installation was completed in a timely manner so as to not disrupt other work being done in the home. Julie committed to a scheduling window that helped us meet our other home improvement obligations.
The installers were knowledgeable, courteous and respectful of our home and our family. Further, it should be noted that our original sub-floors had some leveling issues ,and the installers worked to great lengths to ensure the installed product met our expectations.
Again, from beginning to end, this was an exceptional service experience. I highly recommend Custom Floors & More, Inc. for any of your flooring installation needs.

Doug and Julie were/are very nice.  Workers were nice.  Floors looked nice.
However, the workers destroyed some of the baseboard, had a visible, bent nail on one piece and left without filling ANY of the nail holes, made holes in some drywall by the baseboards and causes us to have to fix 3 places in drywall and re-paint what was just painted less than 3 months ago.  In fact, Doug told us the correct order of doing what we were going to do was to paint first then have new flooring.
Doug did come over when I frantically called after coming home and seeing the baseboard and wall issues.  He made the workers come back too - neither could explain why the baseboard issues were there.  "The paint touch up is to be expected with vinyl." (Well then the sequence is not what you told us.)
We were referred to this company by a friend who has used them more than once.  He has never had to touch up the paint or had any problems with them.  Doug and Julie have both stated: "These are our best guys."
What really bothers me is that there was no planned viewing of the finished job.  When I called - just before I saw and counted  all of the problems (66) - to find out how the remaining balance was to be made (Are you coming to do a walk through? Do we make an appointment? What happens now?) and was told, "We will send you a bill and then you can send us a check, bring over the money or credit card, and no you don't need an appointment."  Then as I was seeing all of the issues, I asked, "How is it that there is no check of the finished project?"  I was told, "That would be too much.  There's just too many to get to," by the office receptionist.  I then stated that Doug or someone had to come that afternoon.   When I saw Doug and asked the same question, "We try to get to most of the jobs."
When my husband came home and saw that the floor guys had returned, the workers also informed my husband, "Your wife is a little irate." (He had only looked at the floor before they left the first time, not the walls and baseboards.)  They also informed me when I asked why they did not fill the nail holes:  "We usually don't fill the nail holes unless it is white baseboard, as the nail holes look like black dots."  IF you use this company - make sure you ask about them filling the nail holes/repairing any damages made.
I'm sorry,  if I own a company and someone in a supervisory capacity cannot view the finished work at all or  BEFORE a bill goes out, then I am too busy and/or I need to hire someone to help me do this quality control portion of the job.
I appreciate that Doug came over briefly to see the issues and to get the workers here to fix them that afternoon, but I am still very annoyed that we had to make time to re-paint /fix the drywall (it was MORE than touching up) although he did offer to pay to have the area re-painted - didn't want their people to do it and didn't want to put our guy in the middle between us and them if there were differences of opinion about cost and what needed to be done, so we did it to the tune of 3 hours and 3 different paint colors - very glad we had some left over!
I have not seen the bill yet, but I have spoken by phone to Julie who agreed that she would adjust the  bill, per my request,  by the amount of money that I make in my job for three hours, as they are, "Very sorry there were "mistakes made."  She stressed to remember that they came back to fix the mistakes that very same day - "Something most companies wouldn't have done and were making the adjustment because they appreciated our business and cared about us."
What I really hope happens is that they start checking the work of their employees or,  at the very least, give the employees the idea that they will be checked upon so this doesn't happen again to anyone else.
3/31/14:  While I "appreciate"  the comments below from the company, I must correct some of the information:  We were not told painting might be necessary - thus us getting the kitchen painted BEFORE your crew laid the floor.  Husband looked at floor only - his admitted mistake.  When I called back to see if I could talk to Doug that day - he was just pulling in the driveway to your office and he was still able to go and coach a basketball game, so not entirely sure what he "dropped" to come over especially since our house is less than 5 minutes away.  The 3 drywall repairs were larger than a quarter.
I still contend that you should check on the work done by your workers if you are truly concerned about doing the best possible job for each client .  You stated the person who referred us to you, "Had a contractor involved," [that's why they had no touch ups or problems], so essentially on his job, you were a sub contractor vs. our job where you were the contractor.
The bill was adjusted per my request and it has been paid in full.

"[member name removed] we are very sorry that you are disappointed with our company. I am not sure as a business owner what else we could have done for you in regards to your complaints. Our installers did leave the project around 9:30 am and asked your husband to complete a walk thru with them. He acknowledged that the job looked great. We realize you were not present at that time and when you returned and inspected the work you found issues with the baseboards and small spots on the walls by the baseboards. Around 1:17 you called our office let us know your issues and we set up an appointment for Monday. At 2:20 you called back and requested someone to come by that day, Doug dropped what he was doing and immediately went to your house and agreed we had some issues. Our installers were back there by 3:00 to correct the issues. Sometimes when you do remodel work some things happen, when we pulled off the baseboards 3 small spots of drywall at the corner bead come off from how the baseboards were installed when the house was originally built. We bought a new piece of baseboard and replaced the baseboard that you said was chewed up. You were told originally that there could be some paint touch up needed depending on how things went. The contractor that put your base on originally did not want it to come off so it was much harder to get off the normal house. Yes my crew should have filled the nail holes and that was completed. We offered to pay your painter to touch up. On Monday, we spoke again and you said you did the touch up yourself and want to be reimbursed, we honored that request. We do strive to do the best possible job for every client and schedule the best possible installer for each project. So it is not all about the number of jobs we do it is about doing the best job possible for each client."

MARK AND HIS TEAM WERE FANTASTIC.  HE PROVIDED A COMPETITIVE PRICE AND WAS ABLE TO MEET MY SCHEDULING NEEDS.  IN FACT HE MOVED ME UP IN THE QUE TO GET THE WORK COMPLETED BEFORE CHRISTMAS.  MARK WAS VERY HANDS ON, AT MY HOUSE EVERY DAY ENSURING THE WORK WAS TOP QUALITY (HE DID MUCH OF IT HIMSELF).  JOB WAS COMPLETED ON TIME, ON PRICE AND WITH MINIMAL DISRUPTIONS TO OUR DAILY ROUTINES.  I WAS SO COMPLETELY SATISFIED THAT I HAVE CONTRACTED HIM TO COME BACK AND REFINISH OUR KITCHEN FLOORS IN FEBRUARY.

It was great. In the process of doing it, when they took up the carpeting, there was a leak by the backdoor and they were very good about helping us to find a carpenter to get it repair and making sure that they held up the flooring installation in order for us to get a new door purchased and get the floor repaired. So they were helpful with getting everything done as quickly as possible but in a proper manner so that it was done well. They provided an excellent quality of service at an exceptional price. The people that came out always know what they were doing. They did work in a timely manner and left the place clean and taken care of when they were done.

They did a super job and were very easy to work with.
We went with the type of carpeting and pad that they recommended and are very happy with it.  The stairs were finished well and look much better than they did with the old carpet.  I am planning to have more work done over time and will definitely use them again.

I did have an estimate from one other company, but they "didn't compare to custom floors and more. Custom floors and more even taught me about luxury vinyl planking which I didn't know about. I couldn't be happier, it looks just like wood floors except it's water resistant. They were able to finish the project on time and in a very professional manner. The two workers went above and beyond to make sure things were done on time. They did a great job from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company.

They were timely and professional. I was trying to match some tiles and they had some good suggestions so that I didn?t have to redo the whole bathroom. My house was built in 1937 with a lot of original materials. Their quote was very close to the other company?s, and I am still considering them.

Overall I couldn't have been more pleased with the project. There were a couple of miscommunications between the installers and myself, but they were respectfully cleared up to our satisfaction. The installers had a tremendous work ethic and were polite. They were also knowledgeable about other flooring that the company sold and could install. I was so impressed with the level of service that I wrote a letter of reference during the hectic Christmas season.
